yes. first ep is the usual kdrama childhood backstory. second ep leads have grown up, met, bickered, worked together, and even shown some appreciation for each other. so quite fast paced. some politics here and there but main focus has been on the leads. its only the first 2 ep tho, so who knows where the show is gonna go from here

but who is that gonna save? if she does that her father would be in danger too for hiding that he had twins... her mother would be remembered in history as a traitor who hid the fact she had a twin daughter and made her pretend to be crown prince. her servants who were in on the secret would also be killed. this would affect her and everyone she cares about. she dies and cant change society

i kinda like that she's the one telling him the secret instead of him finding out by accident. it shows the development of her character and their relationship. her telling him her secret means she trusts him and is bringing the walls she built down. i hope she's the one to tell him that she was dam yi too

I don’t think the arrow was poisoned since they arent trying to kill her. But it’s definitely possible to faint over that kind of injury irl. I think we’re just too used to seeing people with godly pain endurance in dramas haha. Irl I’ve seen people fainting over just a kitchen knife cut on their hand.
