I don’t think the arrow was poisoned since they arent trying to kill her. But it’s definitely possible to faint over that kind of injury irl. I think we’re just too used to seeing people with godly pain endurance in dramas haha. Irl I’ve seen people fainting over just a kitchen knife cut on their hand.

im not sure but in ep 1 and 2 there has been no mention of the ML having a wife or other concubines. I've searched the cast too and i dont see anyone playing as his wife or concubine. considering the synopsis is literally the ML asking the FL to be his concubine and her contemplating it, she might be a concubine? however, i think the focus is gonna be the two of them and i doubt they are gonna really touch on the fact that he has other wives hahahahahahaa
historically the ML had a wife and a few concubines, and the FL's character was one of his concubines. but i get what you mean, it is a bit of a turn off to see the ML having other wives in this day and age, even if it was the norm in the past haha
