Opinions after ep 15: ok this peaked at ep 9 lol. Although that’s not to say the eps after 9 were bad, they’re still good. BUT they are dragging han ji yong’s death/murder for too long from ep 12-15. TIL now I still dk who killed him LOL. I loved the eps when the three main characters worked together to drag Han ji yong, and all the scenes with the bible study. I even like the grandmother, her daughter and their crazy anger issues lol. I just feel like Han Ji yong’s character and villain arc were not that well written. He felt like a caricature evil person after the truth about his was revealed. Would’ve been great if he had a bit more complexity than childhood trauma and growing up unloved. The female characters are quite well written though.

Wow ep 8 plot twist??? At ep 9 now and it’s getting really good. It had a bit of a slow start but really picked up pace by around the third or fourth episode. For now I love how the show is showing the generations of women affected by this god forsaken family and how history keeps getting repeated in more twisted ways by the men in this family. Oh well I sincerely hope soohyuk the young master breaks this curse cos he seems like a decent dude. (Pls don’t disappoint me but I’m keeping my hopes low for the men in this house). So far the romance between the young master and maid makes me anxious. Although they seem to have the most wholesome relationship in the show, where they are each other’s solace, I can’t help but fear they’ll fall into the same fate as all the asshole men in this house.

I’m really enjoying the three main female characters in this drama. Hopefully they join hands and attain some happiness and freedom.

Also idk why but I think there’s more to nun? It’s a bit ridiculous but maybe she’s oh mija? Or if not there’s just something more to her. Why I think so:
- she visited the chairman in hospital - how are they connected?
- she owns a Birkin??? Well it could always be fake or gifted since she has many elite associates.
- she’s the one person outside of the family to know ALMOST EVERYTHING about the family. - well yes because she’s the confidant of almost everyone from the family but I feel like it’s been written this way for a reason
- almost everyone is somewhat “grey” so far but she’s the only good person besides the protagonist

Refreshing plot and creative spin on the “superpower” trope. It’s emotional and definitely managed to pull my heart strings. Conflicts don’t feel contrived and made up “just for the plot”. It did feel a bit draggy and a bit hard to watch from ep 9, especially because of book dong hee and her mid dumbass cheater doctor, but overall i really enjoyed it!

Ps I loved bok dong hee but I just hated seeing her with the doctor LOL. She was epecially entertaining to watch with Grace.

Oh wow to think that self love and self respect was actually the cure to her flying problems. I should be the director at this point

Amazingly I only watched the first 20 min of forever and ever. I loved one and only’s tragic end so I wanted to keep it that way haha. Also the sequel was a bit too slow for my taste.

I loveee historical dramas especially those with super tragic romance, and cdramas do those so well. Though I haven’t been watching that many recently. My fav is ONE AND ONLY!!!

At ep 9 and why tf is bok dong hee still delulu over this mid ass cheater doctor???? What she needs isn’t lose some weight but to lose her dumbass delusions and gain some self worth and respect. Urgh

I’m at ep 14 and I think I’m gonna be calling it quits here. I stopped watching for too long and can’t seem to get back into it cos I keep getting bored. I really liked the first three eps because of the enemies to (maybe lovers?) premise but that kinda fizzled out since they’re bffs now. There’s a lot more politics than I was expecting in this and frankly I got bored cos of the politics LOL. Not a fan of the politics here cos it’s nothing like 4d chess, more like just things happening cos the writer wants them to. I was expecting some angsty tragic romance but I’m not getting much of it. Not that there’s anything wrong with the drama but I guess I just got bored because I’m not getting what i expected.

I’m at ep 5 and it’s really good so far. Very refreshing plot. In fact even the ML’s superpower is quite creative, I’ve never really seen it in other dramas. The romance is a nice unexpected surprise. So far every thing is quite logical even for a fantasy drama. Hope the plot keeps up till the end

im at ep 4 and so far so good!! its been interesting since ep 1

Fun for the first three eps but loses steam afterwards. It was a lot less serious than I expected and there wasn’t much going on even though there were only eight eps.Felt more like a youth drama than anything. It had template antagonists and conflicts that failed to add any tension or thrill to the plot. Overall just ok. I liked the MC’s friendship with his girlie desk mates, it was the best part of the show.

It’s pretty cringy and the flow of the story was so random at times. BUT for an unserious show it delivered. I was entertained even though the dialogue felt like Wattpad written by a 13 year old at times. Main characters are endearing. For an 8th generation chaebol, Cha min (I fking loved the Prince Charming puns) is the most endearing outlandish male lead ever lol. The acting did feel off at times especially from the SML but overall it was enjoyable and was definitely a show that called for some overacting.

i was here when the drama was airing when comments were generally positive. now that its ended the vibe is super weird from both lovers and not so lovers of the show. im also busy with life so fortunately i dont have the time for trivial nonsense like this. btw finally i like a show precious 🤣🤣
