I’m at ep 15. Honestly I don’t understand how the Wang family is just out here mass murdering every prominent family in the city?? Like I get that they want to massacre the Gu family and loot their riches. And that’s possible because GU no longer had the support of a minister in court. They justified the attack on gu by accusing them of treason and abetting rebels, but how are they just destroying the rest of the other prominent families?? They did say the court is in somewhat a state of chaos because the king is sick and there are a few personnel changes, but still it’s not like the king is dead and the country is on the brink of collapse?? I’m not convinced by the mass murder plot so it’s somewhat dampening my enjoyment of the show. Idk how WANG and co are getting away with any of this lol. I know it’s tragic but I’m just shocked by how ludicrous it all is
