Actually it's my first time getting seriously into this kind of drama. First i wasn't really convinced but i change my mind after watching all 8 and the preview. I don't know if you noticed the progressive change concerning the vibe of the show. Even if you watch the trailer you can know how serious it's gonna be and move away from this comic side.
I hope that you'll find another drama that you'll like though 💕

The show truly begins at episode 4, so don't let yourself convinced that what's it's before represent the vibe, the plot and the value of this drama pls.
If you find the first few episodes unbearable, consider skipping or quickly scanning through until episode 4, then you can begin to enjoy episodes 5 to 8 .

you just stopped at episode 1 or 2 that's why you're saying that. Since the releasing we all felt the same about the beginning but it's getting better at ep 4. The comedy is just a facade, the show is turning progressivly deeper.

Same for Xu Kai in WOL, he appeared to be drawn to her. He seemed especially attracted to her off-screen during the interview.
I've seen some videos of people she worked with and they all say the same thing she is very generous and tries to make everyone feel comfortable on set. For example, she prepared food for Xu Kai during filming and even hired a chef for the crew.
After meeting many celebrities at an event, a Chinese influencer remarked that she is even more beautiful in real life and has a very pleasant scent that she left behind her passage. . Among them, Jing Tian made the biggest impression on him.
It seems difficult to work alongside someone so charming though 😂...

The beginning is a little slow and full of comedy (the intrigue isn’t really showed) so many people are dropping even before ep4, because they think that this is going to be like this during the entire show. whereas the plot is getting more serious after ep4 and will become more and more serious.

I'm curious by the true identities of Nan Yan and her mother. Could it be that her mother was betrayed by her lover (nan yan's father) ? Is that why she bears the same mark as Ji Yang, like she has been wronged and punished as him??
