I was happy with the ending inside the script but i knew there should be a modern era ending (based from released clips while they were still filming) so when the credits started rolling i just fast forwarded. 😂 Also, all i could think while their embracing, i wanna see their drama. 😂 Imagine the rumors and then press release that they're dating 'IRL'. 😁
I am thinking.. NH may possibly sacrifice himself or maybe CGH. Haha.. from the previews, he's now demented. Anyway, i keep thinking abt that clip when they were still filming where they were in modern day, SXY is in modern clothes and NH/NF is in a historical costume and they were hugging. So i think she would eventually come back to her original world. Then NH would follow her. Maybe she or NH would write her story fr the modern world and then enter that world to be with her. He would enter NF's body. We know that NH is very intelligent, the way he can immediately follow her math problem. He would not have any problems fitting in our world.. Just a thought.

I think he was trying to provoke her to kill him. He did try to kill himself before, only JCY stopped him and then told him to take care of the orphans to give him a purpose.
