the police woman was the best. the daughter was the extrovert adopting the introvert. the mother daughter was like the life she shouldve had with her mother. >.<

i guess her running away to HK was a chance for the drama to show her reconnecting with the other thing she has loved and had to give up.

had to replay that last scene several times.

wth. ep 24 was so uncomfortable to watch.
and why is her mother not panicking fr her call.
the number of times i paused it.
had to watch that scene with fam around they were playing and watching other stuff, but i need company.
oh this mother. yehp she's on the list of worst mother now.
the gentleness in the policewoman's question.
if you didnt want her, put her in a dorm? boarding school? or is that effing expensive too??? grr.
one of the better changes in the drama: the cats. hahah

i think the reason drama made that change was to say that love cannot easily help with trauma.
and that may be she needs to heal on her own terms?
the worst thing has happened, that uncle came back to her life. and just when everything is great, she has a good stable job and the man she was in love with but rejected before loves her back.
i wonder if she's still felt that she didnt deserve that good life. and as she said she shouldnt disrupt their lives.

This part was what stick to me the most in the novel. Where SY wished she left him because of the reasons she told him.

Ok watched Ep 24, I can sort of understand why the comments are angry with WFY. It really showed SY devastated and helpless
But SY is just hurting for her. The girl who’s so precious to him was suffering so much all this time. I wouldn’t be angry with her too. i would just her home and safe.
BGM doesn’t help. Just make the tears flow faster.
That bastard in the drama, is really scarier. I have an impression in the novel that he’s just a bully, easily cowed when their victim is not alone and is afraid of people who might be stronger than him. It’s not the same in the drama, he plans against people. He even taunts SY.

I guess am really scared to watch what happened to WFY. the brief flashbacks before were already hard to watch. ><
