how bad was the ending? curious and want to give this a try since it's only 10 eps and thinking there might not…
Think the worst ending and it probably couldn't match up the ending that we got for this drama lol.
She left after the miscarriage with the 2nd male lead while she never know the truth that he didnt send her the abortion form (2nd female lead who did that evil deed). The form that he wanted her to sign is Inheritance Form that said all his wealth will go to her after his death (he did this to show how much he loves her). And yet, despite not knowing the truth, she still smile happily to him before she leaves like saying it was ok for him to ask her to abort the baby.
There you go. The worst ending that could possibly happen, right? :P
Personally, this is the first adaption of this story I have seen and I would have to respectfully disagree. Without…
Explanation is needed for something as serious as the abortion form. She forgive him for everything, she even smile when she realized he come home to do the rocking horse while she asleep but what she couldn't take is the fact that he didn't want the baby -- thats the last straw for her.
Could you imagine if she never found love years years later and found out the truth that he actually wanted to give all of his wealth instead of asking her to abort the baby? That his love is so big to the point that he's even willing to give everything to her? The regret that she will feel of not knowing the truth would be sooo much bigger.
I dont mind the ending if she know the truth and still chose to leave to find herself but it disturbed me that she didnt and still give him that smile at the end like its ok for him to ask her to abort the baby. Its not, its all kind of wrong. This is bad ending. I couldnt believe they chose the worst ending for this drama -- I honestly couldn't think of a worst ending than what they gave us here lol
I just watch the whole show in one sitting and I have to say the chemistry is not that great :/
Even if you watch it, it will be done in like 5 hours lol as each episode is only 30min. :P I finished in 2 sitting -- its like watching 2 movies. Better dont waste your time since this is without contest the worst adaptation. I'm very disappointed since I actually love Jdramas in general.
She didnt leave due to rumour. Her company admitted those text messages so Koreans viewed her as an abusive person…
Of course, if none this happened, she will still be in this production. I personally think had she and her company stay quiet and never address those messages, it will remains as baseless rumour with made up evidence (since Kim Junghyun never brought up her name, not even once during this whole scandal). But since she confirmed the authenticity of those messages, it paint her as a manipulative and abusive person thus Koreans doesnt want to see that kind of person on their TV screens.
But I guess they learned from their mistakes and stay quiet for the rest of rumours after that. I guess if she denied, more allegations will come out (like Soojin's case) and will paint her in more unfavorable light. Staying quiet is the best thing she can do until this whole thing is over. Good PR move on her side.
At least SYJ didn't use mental health as an excuse for her seeming bad behaviour
It seriously not cool to play down mental health like that. People loves to show that they care about mental health until they see the ugly side of it.
She played a main role in "Secret" with Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum. She was great in that but that was a 2013…

Yes, hit or miss is exactly the perfect word to describe his dramas. While some are among the best writings I have ever seen, some I cant even believe written by him (lol). But despite that, he remains my fave Japanese writer -- I always love his thought-provoking scripts and his colorful and layered characters. :D
I'm actually a huge Nojima Shinji fan so his dramas have always been my favourites. But despite that, I have to admit that it can be pretentious at times (esp the ending lol) so I was wondering whether this drama falls into that as well.
I just saw the "bisexual male lead" tag in this series. It is true? Tell me about it please haha
I wont say its true but the guy were confused about his sexuality for major part of the drama. But there's a twist for that confusion which were revealed at the last episode of the drama so you will get clearer idea of the whole situation.
This site sometimes mixed the writer up which I didnt appreciate at all. For me writer is the most important part…
Oh I have been Jdramas fan for decades and he is my fave writer so there are a lot of his dramas that are my favourites. :D I like that he likes to explore the unsettling truth about human nature so you will feel uncomfortable and disturbed while at the same time agrees with it. I thought he's a really brilliant scriptwriter that love to write layered script with many thought-provoking dialogs (which some of them unfortunately lost in translation).
I probably like Flowers for Algernon & Love Shuffle the most. Both are different genre but A+ in term of script qualities.
I'm surprised that not many people have problem with the ending. Its true that Miso is in vegetative state. But it is still murder since Kang Soo did it without the doctor's green light. Only when the doctor has pronounced her brain dead, only then they can remove the life support under their supervision. But he did that without it so he can be charged for murder. It is against the law to do what he did at the end despite it is the request of Miso herself.
There is real life case where family member is being charged in court despite they did the 'murder' at the request of the patient.
People just gonna ignore that she woke up and this dude just killed her?

Like how are they going to make his uncle the leader of the gang but make him go alone and ends up dying in vain…
Yes, I couldnt stand this the most. I literally lose brain cells when I encounter this kind of writing. The biggest so far is Tunnel but a lot of people seemed to be okay with that kind of dumb plot so I guess thats why writers keep writing them. :P
