9.5/10 - Okay, I kid (lol) but the first 10 episodes of this drama really deserved this kind of rating so I rate this drama based on that perfection alone. :P

It was a really perfect rom-com -- utterly sweet, heartwarming, funny, romantic and super cute. There were many problems that the two leads have to face together but it is just them against the world and their deep understanding to each other. What made a love story great is when two persons in love fight for each other equally -- and that is exactly what the 10 episodes of the drama is.

Just watch the first 10 episode and the last 5 minutes of the drama and you can thank me later since this drama would be the perfect romance drama for you.

And great soundtrack BTW. Jiro's song 'I Should Love You' is both perfect in melody and lyrics! Its my lifetime song and it will always be perfect no matter how much I listen to it. :D

And this drama has such a great ending! It was perfect and make sense and didnt leave any room for something more. I love the fact that the drama gives us a lot of time for Naite to say goodbye to Xiao Fei and all the complexity of having him malfunction and deteriorate slowly one by one -- thus the impact leading to the ending left a deeper scar to the viewers. It had me crying like a river and I'm in an absolute mess but the last 10 seconds of the drama was the ultimate hit in the nail for me -- I'm totally left heartbroken. You know the hauntingly beautiful yet heartbreaking scenes that's going to stay with you for a very long time? This drama totally nailed this part when they showed Naite's memories for the last 10 seconds he had left -- one by one. I didn’t realized it at first that they were counting those memories by the seconds one by one so when it finally hits me, I was crying so hard so it was hard to even see the screen -- just like Naite's fading vision as well. It was an extremely well done scene that's going to left you heartbroken for a very long time. And due to this scene alone, this drama simply deserves 9/10 in my book.

9/10 - This drama is my all time favourite Taiwanese drama without a doubt! It is freaking hilarious that made me laugh like crazy and it made me sob like a baby as well. Jiro is literally perfect as Naite -- he is probably the most handsome actor that I have seen in any drama lol. I'm usually not superficial, but I can’t get over how literally perfect and handsome he looked here -- from that flawless perfect face to that perfect body (haha). He basically can't cry even during sad scenes as he is a robot but his facial expressions gave you thousands of reasons to cry for him -- what an excellent actor.

Despite the premise of this drama seemed to be without substance -- I mean, falling in love with a robot? Come on! But I'm surprisingly astonish to the depth this drama went through with this concept. Ever heard the saying of 'Memories Resembles Love'? This drama went through a great length exploring this idea. Not to mention the morality aspect of 'Artificial Intelligent' in human lives and why this idea is dangerous. And not to mention that you can copy everything but you can’t fake sincerity -- that memories made who you are and contribute to your personality that made you special that other people can’t copy. What set it aside from the Japanese version is that this drama also explored the ethics aspect of falling in love with a robot. Would it be the same even if you copy all the robot memories into a new robot with the exact same face and body? Would it be the same? I'm extremely satisfied with how this drama explore all these themes & subjects that I didnt view it as silly or cringy anymore by the time the drama ended.

The only downside of this drama would be having Go Hye Sun as a leading lady. The over the top acting was pretty hard to take but she tone down a lot as the drama progressed so it was bearable somehow. But Jiro is going to take away most of your attention anyway since he hard carried this drama alone so I guess this is the only minor thing that you had to overlook.

7/10 - If you are looking for first love and heartwarming family kind of drama, this drama is perfect for you. I think I have to finally admit that Taiwanese are expert in making romance dramas that are utterly sweet and heartwarming -- the first love kind of story. Just like how the female leads fall in love, you fill fall in love together with them as well. Jiro is utterly utterly dreamy in this role -- I'm reduced to an embarrassing fangirl (lol) everytime when he made his entrance in the drama.

The bits with the four brothers are ridiculous to the core but very hilarious to watch. I also love the fact that despite being pampered like that by her brothers, the female lead is not stupid nor dense nor have no sense of right and wrong thus it was not hard to like her character. And not to mention she was an expert in Judo which make her score an even greater point in my book. :D

If you looking for a good time and just a sweet love story to watch to make yourself feel happy and contented, this is the drama for you. Nothing less or nothing more -- just a love story about how two people fall in love with each other. Great ending!

Title ToGetHer
7/10 - What a fun and entertaining drama. The first episode was kind of average but each episode definitely improved and by the time the drama reaches the end, it has become addicting. Jiro is amazing and Rainie is fantastic as well in their respective roles. The comedic scenes are played humorously & over-the-top on purpose but the emotional scenes are the real highlight of the drama. Most of it comes from Mars' relationship with his Mum and man, there are so many tears inducing scenes between the 2 of them. Jiro's crying scenes are not awkward thus it is actually a pleasure to watch those.

I like the fact that they use a lot of Jiro & Fahrenheit real footage/music videos/songs for this drama. It was kind of funny when they used Jiro's Tank MV but play Fahrenheit’s Lonely Ferris Wheels song for the music video. XD The nice surprise would be Jiro singing Fahrenheit’s Superb & Momo solo on stage and it really show here how he is born to be a star either in real life or in this drama -- his aura is overflowing.

I personally think the most perfect scene would be the ending song he sings to Momo at the end of his concert (Fahrenheit’s song 'Momo'). The lyrics totally portray their relationship to the core -- each of the lyrics fits perfectly like a glove. The lyrics 'You don't need to speak, I already understand your QUIET LOVE' leaves a deep impression to me. Because that is what exactly Momo is to Mars -- she didnt have to say anything but he understood her 'quiet & silent' love and he knew how much she loves him despite even when she didn’t say anything at all -- because her actions have always speak louder than words.

Can't wait! This will be my first K-drama after abstaining from K-drama since March!S2 has different director.…
I personally think we should be worried lol! The previous director was so talented as it was the first time ever that I actually noticed great directing from a Kdramas (he also the ones who direct Memories of the Alhambra). The amount of foreshadowing, focused directing, clues were part of the storytelling which makes the whole script even more engaging.

But the real gem for this drama is the writer thus we should expect the same quality as the 1st season. :D

I'm the opposite. While Shi Mok might be emotionless, Jo Seung Woo made this character so enigmatic that I feel…
Yes, your comment about his character was spot on and correct! I'm confused on why so many people seemed to have misunderstood his character which takes away the the whole point of this drama. Its a medical condition that cant be reversed and this is a crime drama and not a fantasy ones thus he wont develop emotion to matter how much you want him to be. A psychopath can get angry, be charismatic, tender and lovely but it doesn't mean that they feel that emotion. They learn to show that emotion but they couldnt feel those emotion no matter how much they try.

For me, I honestly thought its breath of fresh air that this drama 'lack of emotion' as you put it (though for me, I feel all sorts of emotions watching it that I even feel sorry for the mastermind and the executor -- both are my faves after Shi Mok). Thus, it makes the drama stood out from the rest since you wont see stupid characters made stupid decision (due to being emotional) lol. Its simply a clever cat and mouse games with some really brilliant and intelligent script with minuscule details which you rarely find in other kdramas. But I understood what you mean and hopefully you will change this perception if you are willing to give this 2nd season a try. :D

But he had emotions? The position of the drama was that the people around him were ignorant/intolerant of difference…
It cant be wrong as medically, the part of his brain for emotion was removed when he was young -- thus it wont be possible for him to feel emotion since those nerve that cater that part was removed. If the writer intended for him to feel at the end, then this drama has becomes a fantasy drama instead as in real world, those thing cant be reverse.

Psychopath cant feel any empathy or emotion as well but they still be able to get angry just like Shi Mok in this drama. Dont confuse this two thing as it is different. I witness something like this in real life as well thus I can relate to what Shi Mok is as most his actions and behaviours are guided by moral and principles that he learned through life -- it doesnt mean that he can feel it but he learn to pretend to feel despite he may not feel anything at all.

UNPOPULAR opinion: there's no need a lot more romance(love) scenes among HSM and HYJ in stranger 2 than the prequel…
There's no romance at all in the 1st season imo. It was friendship and not romance so I wonder why some people (not you of course) said there's romance implied.

The main problem with Stranger season 1 is that using a emotionless main character also made it an emotionless…
I'm the opposite. While Shi Mok might be emotionless, Jo Seung Woo made this character so enigmatic that I feel everything for him while he as a character didnt feel anything -- thats the most magical thing about the drama for me.

I'm the biggest fan of this drama and will fight with anyone who disagree that this is the best scripted Kdrama ever existed in the history of kdramas (lol) but many people seemed to think he has emotion when its clearly shown in the drama that he did not. Some even thought he likes Eun Soo which he didnt. The emotion part of his brain is removed so there is no way that he could feel any emotion and being a great writer that she is, the writer keeps holding to this fact since that is the whole point of this drama -- a just character that wont be sway with anything either its money or power.

Shi Mok is guided by principle and moral thus his actions seemed just, good and appropriate but he doesnt have the ability to feel empathy or any types of emotions.

But he had emotions? The position of the drama was that the people around him were ignorant/intolerant of difference…
Shi Mok is emotionless because he doesnt have the ability to feel any emotion -- it was clearly shown in the drama that way. It is a condition that cannot be reverse after his brain surgery. What made him different is that he is guided by moral and principles (the things he learned from his surrounding but at the end of the day, he still isnt able to feel any emotion) thus his action may seemed normal and can be interpreted as someone with emotion when in reality, he isnt able to feel any of that. What made Yeo Jin different is that she is able to see behind all his facade and see him as a human and treat him as one despite his lack of emotion. That what set her apart from other people around Shi Mok.

It was clearly shown in the first season in the scene between Shi Mok and Eun Soo at his apartment. Eun Soo said something really insensitive and hurtful and while Shi Mok might not feel anything towards her statements, he knew that she wasn't supposed to say that and reminded her that she was insensitive to utter such words to him. This is because his action/judgement are guided by moral and principles despite he might not feel empathy towards anyone or anything.

I've been searching the song too! Apparently its not made in to a full song -- just a bit of Aki's hum. But it is such a beautiful song -- I really want to hear the full version of it. Reading your comment made me watch the movie again lol since I know the specific song you are talking about

I personally feel its the greatest love story ever told on TV. The leads went through heaven and earth for their love and the drama was addicting as hell. I totally understood the hype and get why this drama is the most watched TV drama in China. I think they gonna hold that spot for a very long time.

He didnt betray her. It was either her eyes or her life. He has to chose one and despite that, it hurt him so bad and he suffers all those years alone (while she forgets). And when they met again, he is just grateful to see her still alive and happy just for that even if she doesnt love him. That kind of selfless love was kind of rare thus I really appreciate his character lol
