7.5/10 - An actual dream come true for them to shoot this movie for their 20th anniversary -- a very great present to superfan like me! *\o/* Both Koichi & Tsuyoshi still shines when they are together on screen. Tsuyo's long hair needs to go but he's still my most fave person in the whole world. ♥

Catch all the easter eggs (their Singles' titles since debut) which makes this movie even more interesting to watch.

8/10 - Very interesting story with very interesting and compelling characters. I love both Koichi & Tsuyoshi's characters here. ♥♥

9/10 - One of the most depressing dramas that I have ever seen but full of depth and cover a lots of disturbing society issues. Both Koichi & Tsuyoshi were really great in this roles. IMO, this is Koichi's best performance of his career.

8.5/10 - A great drama about friendship. The ending made me cry of happiness lol! Koichi & Tsuyoshi were always great when they are acting together and this drama is no exception.

7.5/10 - Weird story but surprisingly addicting and awesome. The kind of story that you just feel happy watching it. Tsuyoshi is hialrious in this role. X'D

Too cringe for me (maybe because I love Sato Takeru so it was weird seeing him like that) so I put it on hold.…
lol this is me. I used to watch Takeru in serious roles so rom com character like this was hard to take.

Okay, I didn't realize it was him in Rurouni Kenshin. T_T I fell in love with him there first. Haha. Anyone who…
Mostly all his movies are gold. My absolute faves would be Rurounin Kenshin Trilogy, 8th Year Engagement & If Cats Disappear from the World.

He is definitely the top actor in his generation imo. He has the talents and variety of roles and projects to back up his successful career.

Which plot twist may I ask?
Evil sect in Faith? Which one? Do you mind elaborate the plot twist? The the Queen Seunduk one I get it though. :)

So apparently this is the second part of the Fated to Love You trilogy. Anybody know what the last part is?
Did you managed to know what is the 3rd part of the series?

Title Abandoned
This was written by Matsuda Saya, not Nojima Shinji. Matsuda Saya is the only name listed under “screenwriter”…
This site sometimes mixed the writer up which I didnt appreciate at all. For me writer is the most important part of the drama that can make or break a drama and this site sometimes had it wrong.

Oh you are a fellow Nojima Shinji's fan! Which one of his work that you liked the best?

Did anyone want to discuss with me regarding the weird proposal he gave to the mother near the ending? It was so wrong imo lol

For those who are confuse with the ending:It was unfortunately implied in the drama that Sakuto lose all his memories…
Me too. While I may like Nojima Shinji's works, sometimes I have to admit that he likes to write something pretentious like the friends breaking off with each other unnecessarily.

His drama with Tsuyoshi's 'Platonic' -- which is great btw have pretentious ending as well lol!

Haha thank you! Nojima Shinji's is one of my fave Japanese writers since he always like to write thought provoking drama like this. Love Shuffle was also written by him. :)

I personally feel like this is the best ending that he can give us . A happy ending and the one where Sakuto actually really happy and contented. The original ending was very depressing and dark -- I never like that kind of ending tbh.

7.5/10 - It was actually a well made movie that actually covers deeply about a whole bunch of characters (not just the leads) and their respective lives where it didnt feel rushed, fast or draggy. I actually surprised that this movie is only 2 hours despite the many things that it covers so heads up to the director, writer and editor for making it possible. This is how movie should be done imo.

However, while I liked the first half of the movie, the second half was difficult to watch with constant shoving down to our face about the supposedly ''REAL LIFE'' where none of the characters deserved to be happy when in the real world, people actually moves on and found their own happiness despite the many trials and tribulations that they may face in life. All of the tragic ends for all the characters kinda make the story goes to pretentious territories imo.

But despite all of that, it is still a well made movie and it deserved a 7.5 despite the many plots that I didnt agree on esp the bits on Zheng Wei's insistence that its all in the past (why? you cant go back to the past but you certainly can make a bright future for yourself) or her shoving the suicidal girl and called it love to Lin Jing or Ruan Guan died for a worthless guy. I wish none of that subplot in the movie tbh..

I actually like everything except the ending. The characters are what you expect them to be at that age! We are…
You like the part where Zheng Wei shoved the suicidal girl to Lin Jing in the name of love despite it is obvious that Lin Jing has no feeling towards her? Or is it considered one of the endings that you didnt like? That part made me goes O_o??!! as it is not how love works Mr. Writer...

The ending. What are we supposed to make out of it
It was an open ending that the director purposely left for us to decide on ourselves.

But seeing that:
1) Zheng Wei admitted to Lin Jing that she is still in fact in love with Xiao Zheng at the restaurant.
2) Xiao Zheng came back from the US to win her over.
3) Xiao Zheng named his firm 'Wei Guan World' which is after him and Zhang Kai's loves of their lives; Zheng WEI & Ruan GUAN.
4) Zheng Wei dumped Lin Jing.
5) Xiao Zheng's propose story with the dolphin at the end.
6) Both of them are singles at the end.

It seemed that the story kinda incline for a happy ending for the 2 of them. At least that is what I believe (lol) after so much negativity for all the characters by the time the drama ended. :P
