Seriously, please read. Okay, Channel 3 is whitewashing the thai population. Can you name a channel in Thailand right now that isn't? Literally every channel in Thailand prefer pale, light skinned people. It is considered normal there. Heck, it's considered normal in most parts of Asia. Yes, it is wrong but if you're going to call out Channel 3, call out every other channel too but it's not as if Channel 3 is the odd one out here.

All I'm saying is that dealing with racism and colorism is going to take more than boycotting a channel or series and it's certainly going to take more than a few days/months.

It's not that it's impossible but it's going to take a long long time and much more than boycotting a series or channel is going to be needed to reach that goal. Also, you're right. Channel 3 is one of the few Thai channels that give dark skinned actors roles. Maybe they're not great roles but at the very least, they're getting roles and screen time. To the rest of the world, it might be a small thing and can even be thought as an insult or offensive but in Thailand, that's like an extremely rare and praiseworthy.

Oh god, you're just not listening to what everyone else is saying. "Fighting colorism" is going to take centuries if you want it done in Asia. If that's what you want, instead of telling people to boycott Channel 3 and targetting this series, tell people to boycott Thailand and Asia in general (which I'm sure you won't do because the other BL series airing are the ones you like. The only one you dislike is this series). If you're going to say Channel 3 has disrespected darker skinned people then the whole world has disrespected darker skinned people at one point or another. You might have a better chance of moving to Mars. Also calling the BL series a flop just because you personally dislike is just a lie. Their lastest epsiode has an average of 1M views. If you call someone a 1M people are interested in watching a flop, you better have produced a series that has gotten over 15M views.

Yes, but boycotting Channel 3 or this show isn't going to help if that's your goal. If that's your goal, you'll have to boycott Thailand all together. And honestly, if you get enough people to help, it'll work because Thailand's highest income is tourism.

Asia itself is very racist due to colonoization and very particular about skin color. Many prefer light pale skin over dark skin. All of your favorite Asian countries are mostly likely racist. China, Japan, Korea, you name it. It's not just Thailand or this channel. If you honestly want to help stop blackface and racism in Asia, you'll have to make a country wide protest like Black people did in America or just blacklist all products from Asia all together. If you can't, you're better off just watching the show and supporting the actors like normal because their carrers shouldn't be saraficed for what their network did. Remember, the actors are just as helpless as you and me when it comes to changing their mindset. Thailand is one of the most conservative countries. You'll have to spend centuries changing their entire culture (heck even America's still pretty racist).

Yeah. They say it's heated kisses but it looks more two guys being forced to kiss while trying their best to look sexy on the camera. Even if they are heated kisses, because they either edit the sounds out or cover them with music, we can't really tell if they're actually enjoying the kiss or not (again, so that straight women watching don't know that these hot guys like kissing other guys). The "heated" kisses don't even use tongue or anything so we know they're just doing the bare minimum to look good. SCOY and Cutie Pie has somewhat shocked the industry by doing these things.

Yeah, what I like about Toh and this series overall is that they know Toh's hoarding problem is not normal and doesn't try to pass it as such. They talk about it and gave Toh character devoplement by having him slowly improve with the help of his friends. Toh himself also know that it is a problem and tries his best to follow his friends instructions showing that he also wants to change himself for the better (whether it's because of Nuea or not).

No, I'm talking about the show. Nuea is also bi in the novel though. I don't remember what epsiode but I remember Nuea telling Toh that he knows more about the differences between kissing a girl and a guy than Toh meaning he's done it with both girls and guys making him bi. Plus, he was dating a girl before and he likes Toh, a guy, but his friends don't seem too surprised so he probably already told them about his sexuality even before they knew about him liking Toh. As for Sky, we don't see him daing other people but his friends (in epsiode 10 I think) said that he used to date girls before Jao so he's most likely bi or pan unless he realised he liked guys after meeting Jao.

I understand what you mean but you shouldn't be blaming this show alone when literally every BL series do the same. I get that you want repersentation and having feminie guys top for once would be a good way to break stereotypes. However, at the same time, there's nothing wrong with a feminie guy bottoming. Yes, they could have mixed it up but it also isn't a problem if they didn't. Just because there are 3 couples or they're using feminie guys doesn't mean they have to break all stereotypes. The series has already done plenty already. They're using feminie guys as main characters, they have trans and lesbians (the very first btw), they're talking about Toh's hoarding issues, they're giving almost every character character development, etc. I get that you want a better repersentation of feminie guys but you also shouldn't hate on the show because it didn't happen to have the one thing you would like included. Think about all its other achivements.

I get what you mean. Most BL's are targeted towards straight women so they usually use hot straight guys for views. Even when they kiss or "have s*x" it looks more like what a straight women would imagine what gay s*x would look like. I mean, I'm not complaining as someone from the LGBTQ+ community, it does look hot but it's kind of obvious that it's for people who fetish about gay people rather than two gay people falling in love. In this series, they're using feminie guys that most women aren't attracted to and they include the sounds (whimpering, moaning, crying, etc) that would be heard usually during heated kisses and s*x instead of just having a hot dude lay down looking sexy while another hot dude hover above him breathing heavily while romantic music play in the background.
