uhh okay i was really looking forward to this, but it's using a lot of BL tropes and the acting is coming off as a bit cringey. it feels like it's taken inspiration from a lot of other media and is trying very hard to emulate the work of others. i'm not used to watching mainland Chinese dramas so the lip syncing/dubbing is coming across as very distracting as well.
nevertheless, i'll continue to watch cause I have major respect to the director and cast for filming this in mainland china.
Wow... the actors and crew members are so brave to be involved in this. The CCP is no joke.I hope this show gains…
actually just checked out a few of the Director's previous works and hopefully he's improved.. if his past work is anything to go by, the cinematography, pacing and budget may be severely lacking.
He was receiving a lot of homophobic comments so he decided to not join S2 because of it
i read that the reason he didn't continue was because a clip of his 'bad acting' went super viral in Korea and he got clowned so much for it that it's made him reconsider the role/acting
nevertheless, i'll continue to watch cause I have major respect to the director and cast for filming this in mainland china.
i'm hopeful that the series will improve.

Ok I've changed my mind, they've included that iconic scene, it will be a BL after all!
Reckon this will be a bromance rather than a BL.
I hope this show gains a lot of popularity so that it's all worth it.
I read that it was because his 'bad acting' went viral in Korea and it made him want to train more in acting before he acts again.
knowing Korea, the budget will be better, but it'll just over focus on the romance
dude you're the biggest fujoshi on here
