Episode 12 was extremely frustrating and it's falling into the stupid kdrama tropes of characters making stupid unexplainable decisions just to create misunderstanding and the childhood lovers trope. ugh
This was a 9.5 for me up till episode 4, but the ending was rather underwhelming so it's dropped to 8.5. The chemistry between the two was absolutely the highlight of the series and Aloha was a hilarious character.
Does anyone know what the next BL MBS will be airing after this?
The slow motion running with the umbrella in the rain, the misunderstanding caused by the FL protecting the ML from a rival/antagonist, the FL getting rescued when she is 'in a daze/emotional' midway through crossing a road, the cold ML who secretly has been stalking the FL as well, the ML using a part of himself as a headrest for the unaware/sleepy FL and that's like just from I can recall right now..
I'm sure there were way more in Ep1 but I cba rewatching it lol, but I do remember just feeling like I was being inundated with scenes which were very similar from other dramas I've watched
uhhh this drama is filled with so many cliches and tropes..
the ending of the second episode is taken from so many of other previous kdramas but i guess it's refreshing if this is the first time you've watched this kind of story
I'm like 80% through episode 1 and I can't get pass the cringiness, does it get better in the second episode? or maybe I've just matured pass this kind of storyline..
The younger dude's acting came off as a bit cringy at times, but i think it's maybe because the older guy is really good in his role so it's more obvious. The premise/storyline/chemistry is good so I'm looking forward to this. I just wish Japanese BLs were longer!
