When it's rich boy and poor girl why do they always dress the female leads so sloppy? And the haircuts 😲.
I watched this last year. That wig bothered the whole time. I thought they would change it as some point but not even when she showered or slept did they change it. I know I am not the only person who noticed it. You would think Bai Lu or somebody on set would suggest changing that wig.
I really liked watching her in Romance of the Little Forest. She was cute but then she was smart. And of course,…
One of my favorite scenes is when she dressed up in costume to help the little brother win a prize. That was hilarious! The first time I saw her in Moonlight I thought what is this childish voice. And now I absolutely love her!
LOL! I am holding on and not looking until at least 75% of the episodes are out. I am trying to hold back.
I suffered through too many this summer. I told myself I would never do that again. This one looks too good for me to start this early especially as they only release one episode a day!
Don't force yourself. It is probably not for you. If you don't like it by ep 17, you are not going to like it…
It happens. If the main leads were different actors it would not have been as good. But Lu Si and CZY worked so naturally together and sometimes when they laugh I feel it was part of the BTS that they kept in the show just because it is so natural. I love the way he looks at her and from ep 13 he starts flirting. It was so touching the way he changed his flight so he could fly home with her.I am not sure if you saw the scene at the skating rink where she said she was going to kiss him. The look on his face and then he asked her if she was going to initiate it or should he. Their conversations were delightful and the sparkle in their eyes.
I saw all the sweetness and loved their conversations. But I also saw how good she was for him because he never had anyone defend him or look out for him. His life so far was spent being responsible for other people. Before he had her, he didn't even know if he deserved to be loved. After she gave him two of her stars to read and told him she loved him before she came to college and told him the truth about when went to see him but told him a lie that it was her online friend, he realized how much she loved him. Then there is the scene where she found him looking emotional as he thought about what she is to him...Well maybe you should watch that part yourself. Take a break and come back. Just relax and watch. Your choice!
LOL! I didn't want to say it, but so do I. I didn't mind her as much in To Fly With You because the sports competition made it interesting but in this one....I ended up fast forwarding to the end.
@zainab You are entitled to your opinion. It is your choice to continue or drop it. HL was a big hit with some…
That's okay. There are shows I don't like that others liked. Most of the Kdrama fans watched HL first then people recommended WIFTY as a similar show but I would never have recommended WIFTY to someone who only loves Kdramas. While I watched WIFTY and liked it even if I used the fast forward button several times, I would not have recommended it to someone looking for the same vibe as HL. Yes, they are both sweet. But what I found addictive in HL is missing in WIFTY. Usually, I will ask what it is they see in HL that made an impression before I try to recommend another Cdramas. I hope you find another Cdrama that you like. I love Cdramas in all genres. There are good and bad and I have yet to find a Kdrama I love more than my favorite Cdrama.
Lmao…. I actually really laughed at this comment. I have no interest in watching this drama because I refuse…
Do you refuse to watch because he refuses to kiss his costars? LOL! I am just asking because it is what many of us talk about with him especially as he is sooo charismatic. I still watch him because somehow he makes the kiss scene sizzle with his eyes but if only he would follow through.
Update to my initial reaction. After having watched 17 episodes this got dropped. The beginning was wonderful…
Don't force yourself. It is probably not for you. If you don't like it by ep 17, you are not going to like it later even though the scene where she tells him her secret that she liked him before she came to college was beautiful. The scene where the tells her he loved her was beautiful to watch because it breaks my heart that Jiaxu had to go through so much in his life and it was so good to see him feel loved. But if you get to ep 17 and not feel any of the vibes then you probably will not like it any better after.
I'll would say if you like youth romance drama or the main leads you probably will enjoy it, if not in my opinion…
I am not hurt by what you said and I love HL. It is your personal reaction to the show. Nothing is wrong with that. It is not really just a youth drama though. The first 6 episodes I think was in high school for the FL but the rest was college/career. It was no college focus but more on the relationship.
