He wasn't horrible to her up to ep 12. The scene you posted is in ep 15. I just watched it. Actually, I can see he is starting to lose his composure where Xu Yan is concerned. Ep 14 was tough but it had to be because how else would we love to see what happens next. I believe he fell in love with her but held back because he doesn't want to love her. He wants to be in control. Xu Yan is the star right now.She is amazing!

I watched several of those and now I avoid them especially if the FL is weak. I love the one with cute kids one on of the quadruplets can break into his CEO dad's company system 😂

I hope his mom is still nice to her. I would like to see his mom stand up for Xu Fan. I felt they liked her including the housekeeper.

I don't think so she wants them together. I try to think of how I would feel in her position so I imagine she is on the offense not the defense. She doesn't care what he wants anymore. And since he said she wanted him for her money, then why not spend it. But we will see soon. All I know is, I love this Xu Yan. Its so much fun to watch her like this

I was told the mother found out on her own. But she liked that Xu Yan was smart. She ended up liking Xu Yan. She also used her to help with dealing with Haochen's fight at school and other things.

I loved her in WRTW so much!!! Just try it. I haven't found another drama with a FL quite like Bai Fengxi. I know how it is when you don't like a certain actor but there are times I enjoyed a drama not expecting to because I was too fond of one of the leads.

I can sleep in tomorrow but I have a feeling I will be up early. I didn't even sleep in over the weekend because of LA .

I am so thrilled Xu Yan is not going to tolerate being bullied. When I watch those verticals with these sort of sfl, it makes me happy when the FL is spunky. I am seeing aspects of vertical dramas in LA 😂 Even the slapping!

I agree. And she loved him and just wanted to win the approval of the mother in law so she could be with him. This is why i said earlier that I know she shouldn't like but what did she do that was so wrong considering her horrible biological parents. Nobody should blame her for not wanting them at her wedding and in her life. But I still feel there is more to Haoming that explains who he is.

What? Oh no. I don't want her to get anything. But the way Xu Yan has been acting by making Fang Lei sit next to her and then telling her to take care of Haoming as well as telling her she looked pale, it seemed as if she would give the ring to continue the game.
