It has a different flavor. It had me drinking coffee and eating muffins while I watched😂 I also enjoyed the sports. In contrast, Our Generation has some recurring themes that I found myself looking for connections. It is really too bad some were too disappointed in not seeing more of Zhang Ling He that they didn't see all that went into it.

Our Generation is deep. I enjoyed AASOL. It is a cozy drama to watch. And I also loved OG. The dialogue is meaningful and beautiful.

The scenes with Ying Tao and Uncle Wang showed Ying Tao as an empathetic and caring FL. She sees the need in others and tries to help them.

I remember taking a walk just before the final episode because I didn't want it to end. It was such a sweet drama.

Episode 14 at the dinner scene was definitely a tough watch but needed for the drama to move to the next arc. She tried to express her love but was rejected. From there it moves on. I did not see a "self hatred trail."

She did not go on a "self hatred train." She owned up to what she did and showed respect to her mother in law and father in law by apologizing as was the right thing to do. She shed the masks and gave up the anchor job to start over. She showed determination and resilience. You didn't finish it or you would have seen this.

I noticed the word in many cdramas and I think it is a translation issue.

If you look at it as the first part showing a couple perfectly synchronized until they shed the masks then moving on to a different stage where she no longer lives to be what others expect of her, it makes sense.
