Actually, it changed after the start of the drama, and she stood by him even when he made her feel he didn't want anything to do with her. He told her some horrible things because he knew what he was about to do would end it for him, and he would go to jail. He wanted her to move on with her life without him. She fought her mother for him but her parents locked her up in her room so she couldn't go to him.
The drama does a time skip within the same episode to 3 years later where the drama had started in episode 1. And when they met again, she worked to help him regain his company, but she didn't push herself on him. She was simply there. It wasn't until he found out something about all she went through in the past 3 years that he started to lower his resistance to involving her in his life again. She does something toward the end for him with no regard for her reputation, and it was when he finally stopped fighting his love for her. I know when something strikes us one way it turns us off, and I am not trying to change your mind. I am just letting you know how it was for me as I watched it to the end. Her love was the perfect example of unconditional love. As you can see, I love it! 😂

...it was shaved off and they never let him grow it back. I don't want to say much about what happened and spoil it for some, but every time I get close to ep 21 I start feeling anxious. When I rewatch, I skip most of the business part of it where Old Gao is concerned,. I only watch where the leads are working together because he acts cold, but he always knew what she wanted and looked out for her. There was this yearning in his eyes.
I have now blocked. so tired. I kind wish we was still hidden and floating between time. but as rate get higher…
I can only tell you it was so bad in another forum from back in February, that I was shocked. But all the regulars decided to ignore and they went away. They seem to come in spurts. Ignoring them is the best thing to do.
