Yeah this is a rare gem where the FL has the "role" of ML xD in a love story.....she work hard for them…
He loves her too. It is so obvious. I don't know why some only see her as being obsessed. He wants to be with her but his mother is against it and then he felt he should not be with her because of what his life had become.

I thought He Yan said she didn't know why her mother didn't hold out. Also her mother said she would give her life to prove it. I will watch again but that was my impression.

It is a masterpiece. For me it was Bai Jing Ting who got into my head and my heart. I watched this while it was airing and keep coming back to visit the page. I watched it over and over again and had to force myself to move on. I am looking forward to my next rewatch.
