I wish more people would do the same. When you think of all the work went into a 36 episode drama, it doesn't seem fair to rate any drama after only 4 episodes but I guess others feel justified. I saying for myself, I feel I should not.

I feel bad for him as well as upset at all the problems he caused especially where Yan He was concerned. It is sad that he went up in status and power only to lose it all. The child he was wanted to protect his mother and he was treated so badly by others. Yet he wasn't evil. I am not saying I like him but I pity him. I think it was good he did the right thing and turned in his master but perhaps what the drama shows is that sometimes selfish desires and delusions can lead people to lose sight of right from wrong. The person I most disliked was He Rufei.

I think she said he made the emperor fear them being together so she was sent further away from the ML.

I don't know either. I watched the drama without reading the comments since I started late. I am scrolling through now and shocked. I going to rewatch that scene again after catching up a bit.

All I could think when I saw her die was what a waste. She was the best thing in his life. It is too bad he didn't love her romantically but he cared for her. And I also thought that if he had not shown kindness to Ping Ping by taking her into his house, this might not have happened.

Thank you. I didn't know this so I didn't get the disappointment that comes with expectations. All I could see was that ML was struggling to read the edict. I knew he would change his mind but I think we could have done without that part. Directors alway think these things are better for the sake of drama. They like to get us all emotional. I am still so sad about Yan He's death but I think it happened in the book too.

He looks like him so the whole time I was thinking he must have been cleared of charges 😂

Okay, I can think of a few who annoyed me in other dramas.

It is surprising when you watch a drama and simply enjoyed and like the characters only to see others don't like them. I know we all have preferences, but when it is to the extreme, I always feel shocked.

I wish they had a special episode showing the leads with children and this "Yan He had a son, who loved to challenge XJ & HY to duels, just like his dad. XJ & HY were his teachers as well. "

I don't rate what I drop either. I don't feel I can rated something I didn't watch even if I didn't like the first few episodes. I am just speaking for myself.

Same! This happened in so many dramas😂 I am trying to remember if it was in LLTG that the ml was laughed at because his gift looked like ducks.

This is exactly what I was thinking at the end. He kept getting promoted and at the end lost everything including the one person who looked out for him. I felt so bad for him. I can't help it.

I said the same and waiting to be attacked! I cannot help feeling sorry for him. I thought people would be hating on He Rufei more.

I thought he redeemed himself when he turned in his master. It's sad was so delusional to think HY loved him back.

We have another we both enjoyed that we watched for the drama and not the book!
