I felt so bad for him also. I saw how hard it was for him to leave Cherry in ep 15 and my heart broke watching him pretend he was going to stay. This is why I was so surprised to see people hating his character. He suffered so much and Cherry brings him so much happiness. I think he didn't want her touched by his life in HK.

I watch ALTCFL when I just started up with Cdramas. It is was on Netflix. Not sure if it still is. I wasn't so picky then. But I it was good. Once they fixed the teeth it was better 😂

I fell asleep before ep 17 last night. I am going to try to stay up for 18 and 19. I think this should be the HK trope. Do you think so? If not 18 then 19.

As long as she doesn't look the way she looked in A Little Thing Called First Love I am okay with it 😂 I rewatched it last year and I had to skip the bad teeth and hair episodes. It was too painful to watch. She is beautiful though. You should see here at awards and her photo shoots. Absolutely beautiful!

I loved all the dramas you mentioned and I love this one. Give it a try. I highly recommend. I feel it unfolds in a way that reminds me of TFF. Each episodes reveals more. I am hoping the last few episodes will work as a an extended ending with more details. In TFF, I was surprised at the end to see them show Sang Yan's pov from the first episode that they left out until the end.

She is beautiful. I noticed they did her hair and eyes differerently in the scene with the red shoes.

I am sure they will show it all. It was just released.

Wonderful summary 💗 It is a pleasure to read a comment that acknowledges the outstanding performance. Yesterday I watched ep 15 and felt it was outstanding due to the emotions portrayed by the leads and I was shocked to see that many didn't even mention the kiss or the confession. ZLH made me cry watching the range of emotions that he portrayed. Mai Mai was outstanding.

I think the purpose of that scene was to show her how much JQX needed her back then. He needed her then and needs her now. I am looking forward to the Hong Kong arc too!

You must not have been around yesterday when I kept saying how much I loved it. I thought I was just sharing my opinion when I responded to a complaint about cut ZLH scenes in OG. I said I loved it and could feel his emotions even with deleted scenes and someone attacked me as if I was annoying to love it. I even made a couple posts about that scene in ep 15!

To me it was when Yingtao said I Iike you it was that of young love, but when JQX said I love you , it was as it was with his last breath and he very being. Zhang Ling He! He made me cry right there!

I was impressed! It was one of those moments when your heart swells and it was as you say, wholesome!

I waited for OG since TPR. They were so good together as PeiRong and do not disappoint here. Even their off screen chemistry is so adorable. I usually try to wait a bit but I watched the first day and now I don't want it to end. I will be rewatching.

I am mesmerized by the emotions. I keep watching it over and over. Now I am awake and ready to watch ep 17.

Oh. But I will take a look.
