Just a piece of advice, don't watch a drama because of its high ratings, there are so many hidden gems I missed…
I want to add also that if I watch a drama and I find I don't like it right from the start, I drop it or delete it without rating it. I think it is wrong for people to leave an overall rating when they haven't watch at least half of it. But watching one episode and rating a whole drama 1, 2,3, 4, 5..is ridiculous especially if one has no intention on finishing it. Some people say the rating is for their own purpose but if a person drops a drama, that should be enough for them to know they don't want to watch it. I find this so annoying but whatever.
The episodes had ratings of 1 even before they aired. This is why I put in a 10 for all the episodes even if one…
I was surprised because BJT has been low keyed. Maybe now he has become more popular because of his role as Sang Yan. I know Ruonan has her fans but nothing so big as Lusi. I don't know who wants to hate on this. I gave this a 10/10 and feel as if some of the others I gave a 10 need to be adjusted down because this has set the bar! But dramas are different so I try to rate them for what they are without comparing. All I can say is, I miss this so much! If I hadn't already watched it 5 times, I would watch it now. As you see, here I am.
I honestly think this would have reached 9.2+ by now if not for the haters..
The episodes had ratings of 1 even before they aired. This is why I put in a 10 for all the episodes even if one or two were not as perfect as others. I.
is this actually a 9 or a 9 for a cdramai dont want my expectation to be too high as i'll automatically compare…
Let me share something with you . I am not a Kdrama lover. This review is from someone from Instagram who used to only do Krdamas until she watched HL. She also watched this and loved it. Let me get it for you.
It's such a cute drama with great chemistry. Mdl has become so negative
I am a forgiving viewer. I am glad to see your positive comment because some of the reviews are discouraging. I am enjoying it so far but wondered if it was going to go downhill.
I didn't expect to like Ruonan in this but I did. I didn't expect to love this so much because I would have preferred…
Oh I reread your comment. I misunderstood. Sorry about that. It is probably not for you but I appreciate you didn't give it a 1 or 4 like some who said they didn't like it did. I think we both watched it differently. I rewatched and paid close attention to BJT's expressions. He acted with his eyes. I was so into it that I kept pausing to make sure I didn't miss anything. As I said, it is the viewpoint. I couldn't believe how long it took me to watch TBT as I love Linghe. I finally finished it yesterday because I couldn't watch it while I was watching TFF. I watched the first 7 eps and stopped. Then this week I finished it.It was a nice watch. I will be rewatching ep 24 🔥 Loved Linghe as always and looking forward to seeing him with Mai Mai again in Our Generation.
I just got up and heard that it dropped but it saying 9 for me.
I have seen some people give it ratings of 1s. I doubt they watched it. And if they did, they just didn't get it. I am not saying everyone should love it the way I do, but ratings of 1s are ridiculous. Ratings of 4 or 5 are also ridiculous. But whatever.

I skipped the grandpa scenes. I have nothing against him but I don't understand why they included his story to the extent they did. At first. I thought it was a way to get the second couple to bond but I lost patience and skipped him. However, I loved TFF too much to drop my rating for that. I am sure WIFTY was fun. I skipped all of the second couple and only watched the main leads in that. As I said, it could be that I was so obsessed with HL and literally jumping up for joy watching it that WIFTY paled in comparison. They were released at the same time and I watched WIFTY as a filler. I didn't keep rewatching the episodes the way I did HL.
I rewatched episodes of TFF as I was watching. I loved Sang Yan for who he is. I loved Bai Jing Ting as Sang Yan. If you stopped at ep 22, you didn't get to see the way everything fell together like pieces in a puzzle. You didn't get to see Sang Yan 's pov as he found out about Yi Fan's earlier life. Novel readers loved Yi Fan from the start. I did not read the novel before watching so I felt more connected with Sang Yan and took me a while to warm up to Yi Fan. There is a Kdrama digital creator on Instagram who did a wonderful review on TFF. Her first Cdrama was HL. She watched WIFTY after HL because of her followers recommendation. She loved HL and TFF and gave them both 10s. She liked WIFTY and gave it a 7. As I said, it depends on viewpoints and how a drama hits us.
The story is good like I don't expect anything less from ZhuYi's novels. The cinematography is great as well.…
I didn't expect to like Ruonan in this but I did. I didn't expect to love this so much because I would have preferred one of my favorite actresses but I love TFF so much I can't move on. I miss Sang Yan most of all. Bai Jing Ting was perfect in this. To me TFF is one of the most beautiful modern dramas. It is a masterpiece if you take into consideration the composition and symbolism in the drama.
But even if you don't look deep, the performances were amazingly done. Bai Jing Ting has always been an excellent actor, but he wasn't as popular as some. In TFF he has certainly made his way to the top in popularity.
I also loved HL or should I say LOVE HL. I found myself missing the Sang Zhi in HL. I had to watch HL after TFF because I wanted to see the Sang siblings again. I feel they deliberately kept Sang Zhi and Jiaxu bland in TFF but that is okay, I can always visit them in HL. As for WIFTY, I didn't like it half as much as I loved HL. Maybe it is because I watched them at the same time the summer they were both released. To me , WIFTY pales next to HL. I was shocked to see how high the rating of WIFTY was but I understand that it depends on the viewpoint. From my viewpoint, there is no comparison between WIFTY and TFF.

SIL makes me smile. Did you finish it? I am only on ep 7 but I saw some of the Hello Saturday. They are so cute in it. I loved their performance at the start of it. Esther looked so sexy in her leather outfit and she dances so well.
I am not a big Krdama fan but I came across Deema when she made some posts about HL.
