I stopped watching Bridgerton. I loved the books but the Netflix production changed it too much.

He is starting to show some better sides to his character. He is a good foil for Chai An who is more mature and level headed.

She had to put a stop to the what her mother was going through but I still wanted her to talk to Chai An. But drama needs conflict so it happened this way.

I am dreaming of the day I see Wang Xing Yue styled the way he was in AASOL as the ML in a modern drama with some good kiss scenes. I have never seen him do any kiss scene that wasn't blurred out by a screen or something.

There is chemistry between Chai An and Kang Ning. To me anyway.

The rating went up and then it went back down. I haven't rated it yet. It is still a bit early but I am enjoying it.

I started Perfect Match the day it was released and felt relief after watching too much angst these last few weeks. It is funny and entertaining. The ML that stands out in the first couple episode is Chai An and he is NOT red flag nor is he toxic. The FL that stands out and matched with Chai An is Kang Ning and she is also not toxic. She is likable and smart. There are misunderstandings and battle of wills and intellect. It is entertaining to watch them. I love the lively atmosphere that comes with having a group of women in a close family. It appears to be a light romantic comedic. I don't expect any hot kisses in this one 🤣

I love that too and wish more dramas would add in some kids so we can see their life after marriage.

They do! I love seeing them together.

I am sure it will be resolved long before the ending. They will probably be working on solving other people's problems together. It is what they do best.

I was shocked to see Li Yun Rui as Kang Ning's father 🤣 This must have been filmed before Go Back Lover. And we know definitely before Blossom!

I would not call that toxic. But not a good idea to scare someone you rescued. His intentions were not toxic.

Yes. She was hurt. This is why I mentioned her flashback with her father telling her she was smart so he wants her to look out for her mother. They have been through some touch times and she doesn't want her mother and family to endure the insults. Chai An's mother was insulting. But the person Chai An is, will not turn against his mother. He will take a stand against what she did the same way he refuses to marry the women his mother keeps presenting him. He knows what he wants and even though he would always protect his mother, he would have never supported her behavior against the Li family. And it hurt him that Kang Ning didn't trust him enough to know that so maybe they need to get to know each other more.

Either way, Chai An was on a high coming home thinking he was about to marry Kang Ning. It is telling that he went to get her the branch from the plum tree. And it is telling that she saved it. These two will work it out. I felt sad for her as she packed away her treasures, but I also felt bad for Chai An.

Episode 8 is the best for me so far.
