I recall he told his mother that she should remember she had a hard time when his father died just as Kang Ning's mom did. He is not going to just ship his mom off as punishment. I don't like that she insulted Kang Ning's family, but I think when his mom was angry over the $180, he pretty much asked her to be understanding of a widow who was badly treated by family.

I haven't watched Love Games yet even though it is on Netflix. I am not a fan on the game migration plots. But I will.

If my friend who adores him and has been waiting for GOD for so long tells me not to watch, I know it was a terrible ending.

I would not want to be so scared for nothing but I don't take that too much to heart. I am just watching for enjoyment. He went to save them. He shouldn't have made them think they were still in danger but it is drama. I am not going to take that an label him undesirable.

I like both Chai An and Kang Ning. Both are smart. I enjoy watching smart leads. Chai An hasn't done anything hateful to the family. And if you think back, the mothers got on the wrong footing because his mother felt she was swindled. He was not there when his mother and aunt voiced their objections. I understand why Kang Ning broke off the engagement, but I it was not his fault what his mother did. He was hurt that she would not even discuss it with him and she felt she didn't want to cause problems between him and his mother.

Anyway, we all react to want we perceive. I can't help feeling sorry for him and I don't blame him getting upset. He does not hate her. He still wants to be with her. But I understand his point of view in this regard.

I like them both. But I still felt bad for him coming back to the news with no explanation.

There is nothing terrible about the ML, Chai An. Both he and the third sister are entertaining to watch. He notices her because she is smart. They are both excellent strategist. I like Chai An. He competes for business with her family but he is not bad. I was surprised to see all the comments.

No. I do not find Chai An misogynistic. Both he and Kang Ning are excellent strategist. They compete for business and he admires her. I am enjoying this. Try it.

I saw comments on Moonlight Mystique about swollen eyes and crying and I am going to wait. As long as it is a HE, I will watch. I was all set to watch Guardians of Darfeng but that might not happen. I love that Dylan Wang though! But what I heard about the ending was not an incentive to watch.

And we know the story cannot be over yet so this is why there is a conflict. All I am saying is that I empathize with him and understand how he must have felt standing there with the branch to hear she broke off the agreement with no explanation from her.

I don't see him as a selfish rich brat. He went against her family competing for business but other than that I didn't see him hating them as women. He also helped her family when one of the guys started spreading rumors about the sister. He might be highly competitive but he protected their reputation. I binged the first 4 episodes and I know I might have dozed off at some point, but he seems to be smart and mature. It is still early yet, but that is my impression. But I am also watching this and enjoying it so my mood while watching is one of amusement and so happy no angst so far.

Thank you! I just made a comment about this same thing. I don't blame him for getting angry. All he asked was for to come out and face him. It annoyed me that she hid behind her sister. When I saw the scratches on his hands because he went to get what she told him would make her marry him, and she didn't even give him an answer. Who here does not understand how he would feel coming back to the news? All they have to do is put themselves in his position.

I think he was frustrated because she refused to see him. Put yourself in his position that he went away to get the branch from the tree as she requested. Look at the scratches on his hands. He must have felt so excited to get back to her only to be met with the news that she broke off the engagement. She should have faced him. I feel empathy for him even if I can see why she did it. But as I said, this is drama and there must be conflict so here we are.

I was going to start Moonlight Mystique after Flourished Peony and The Blossoming Love but I read the comments and decided I needed a break! And here I am enjoying this wonderful drama.

The connection with the fire is coming up and the problem she will face with her business is making me nervous. I just hope it doesn't drag out so we can have more good vibes as in ep 8. I can't wait to see his daughter's reaction when she finds out she is the one her father loves. The little girl was so adorable the way she listed all the signs her father liked someone 😍

I was touched by the story about the attorney who wanted to be with her son. He was so adorable. I loved the reaction of office staff when he walked it. And I loved the leads in this. It was all so well done!

I am going to watch ep 8 now. It kept freezing when I tried watching yesterday.

Yes. I remembered the lady with the son bonding with the other guy.
The scene that made me wonder if I was watching the wrong drama somehow was in ep 7. if looked like a lab. I didn’t recognize any of them!
The Blooming Love wore me out. I love the main couple in Love Scout and want to see more of them with the little girl. The other couples do not interest me.

She still should have talked to him face to face instead of just breaking it off like that. And I don't see where he looks down on her. It seems to me he admires her intelligence.
He told his mother he wants Kang Ning. It is not his fault his mother insulted them. Here we have the conflict but it was not his fault and I still feel bad for him.
