It gets better but unfortunately there is another hardship around ep 21 but it was quick. I understand what you are saying but there is so much good in this.

I stopped at 15 then went back and stopped again. at 16. It got worse since the time you stopped at 10😂 I keep hoping so I binged 17 to 20. Ep 20 was funny because of the grandfather.

I paused until I could binge 21 to 24. I am doing that now.

It is beautifully written. The banter between the leads alone is huge bonus.

It's up to you. You will miss out on all the wonderful scenes between the leads. If you listen to their conversation, you will find it enjoyable. i am now watching the some of the most aggravating scenes but I know it will be over in a few episodes and we will be back to grilling food under the stars with the leads again or something as calming as that.

I finished ep 21 and hope that was the worse of it. The comments here were quite angry at Sheng Yi but I still pity her even though I found her actions frustrating. She allowed herself to feel too intimate with her jerk of a husband and didn't mean to cause Mudan trouble. She is obviously remorseful. She will have to live with the results of her mistake. I am going to catch up and hope ep 24 leaves me satisfied 🙏

I thought her dad was doing his job but he was dressed in civilian clothing.

He is getting close so I hope by the next 2 episodes he does. Ep 20 was funny but ep 21 might go back to frustrating me.

I wish they would get married soon so that we could see them together more. But I don't think an early marriage is part of the story line. It is good that they are neighbors or she lives right in his backyard.

They repeat plotlines in those vertical dramas. I have seen several of the ones where the FL returns from abroad with triplets or twins.

It is! I am just waiting for ep 24 to be available on the site I am watching so I can watch ep 21. I hope there are enough scenes of the leads together but I think there will be a lot of Sheng Yi. I pity her more than anything but I want her story with her ex to be over so we can move on to seeing more of Mudan and JCY.

Flourished Peony had a high opening score on Douban at 7.8. Regardless of scores here or there, I just know what I like. I love watching the leads spending time together during those night time grilling scenes. The crackle of the fire and just the banter between is calming to watch.

We have seen the FL's flashback many times but I don't remember seeing his. But if both has to do with fire, they are probably connected. I would love if this didn't going into some dark past and just focus on the relationship /business and how they grow closer. Kdramas always hook me at the start then change around the middle.
