She is the reason was hooked on this from the start. It rare we see a FL who goes after the ML the way she did. She was not shy. I loved it!

I enjoy strong female leads. Even though the romance was slow, I enjoyed the night cookouts and the banter between the leads. I have not seen the final episodes but I hope there was at least one good romance scene.

I was reminded that there is a part 2. Hopefully, there will be more romance then. Well, I haven't seen the last 6 episodes yet so I am not sure how much there is for this part.

I hope to see this actress in more character roles like this. She does it so well. I love a strong female lead who knows what she wants.

It's sad. I think she felt responsible for what Mudan went through and didn't feel worthy of her kindness which is why she stayed with the husband. She was not an evil person at all, so I wish people would have some empathy for her.

I noticed it was on Mango and figured the same. I am amazed it started on the same day on Netflix. I wish that was the case for more Cdramas. Netflix is so much more convenient for me.

I get a kick out the way he moves. They put it in slow motion at times and one person described the way he marched into Han Qing's office like a "gazette" and made me laugh! And if you heard what he asked him and the way he asked him, you would laugh! 🤣

I didn't watch it for him in particular. I had already seen him in Story of Kunning Palace but it was in The Princess Royal that I came to love him more. Some did not like it because of the sml getting too much airtime. But I didn't let his presence spoil my enjoyment. Book readers were also upset about the portrayal of the ML but I still saw the aspects that they felt were missing in the drama. I wrote a review on TPR.

I will watch so I don't miss those adorable moments.

I started ep 31 but didn't feel into it. But since I hear there are adorable interactions between the leads, I will watch. I haven't watched since ep 30 and when I started ep 31, I didn't feel up to 4 episodes of the past. Thank you.

Sheng Yi's actions caused Mudan to suffer but she didn't do any of it maliciously. Watching Sheng Yi return to her ex-husband was aggravating, but I pity her. She was not evil. She was abused all her life. She made bad choices where her husband was concerned. I felt so bad for her. She represents the plight of women and the hopelessness some feel. But not once did I see her do anything maliciously against Mudan.

Ep 26 was so good! This is such a wonderful drama.

He just wants to spend time with her. He likes watching her. I don't know what things he is giving her to improve her quality of life because it seems to be me what he admires about her is the way she perseveres in achieving her goals.

I know now! I am going to wait for a few more eps but by tomorrow I will probably give in and watch 22.
