I am going to watch ep 30 again. I thought CXQ was there to save the FL so I was confused as to why he didn't want to be seen.

I am proud of myself for going back to sleep at 3 am. I remember checking the time and was tempted to watch but I went back to sleep until 6:45. Then I watched till after 7. I will probably wake up early tomorrow to watch what happens at this tea party.

Chen Xuan Qing want to be seen? I thought he was trying to rescue Gu Zhao. What else could he have been doing. I don't see how he would have wanted to buy her because where would he take her.

I am all caught up. I didn't understand some of ep 30. One thing was the way the mother in law treated Zhao.

I think Cdramas builds up the moment such that we can feel the chemistry. I can feel the chemistry between the leads in this drama. I can't wait to get home to watch today's episodes. I guess it might be too much to hope for more couple time today judging by the comments. I hope we get a long extended happy ending with kids. I find it more satisfying but as long as it is a HE I wil be happy.

I even have family who are Chinese and watch more Kdramas than Cdramas😂My aunt said Cdramas have too much censorship but I find Cdramas more emotionally captivating. I gave up on Kdramas. I used to watch them as they were more readily available on Netflix. I think my taste is more for the older Kdramas than the more recent ones.I can only speak for myself. I become so obsessed over my favorite Cdramas because they totally captivate me to the point I keep rewatching. I have not had that reaction to any of the Kdramas I have seen. I know that Hidden Love became a first Cdrama for many Kdrama lovers. When I was looking for Kdramas, I came across a page on IG called Deemalovesdramas. She loved Hidden Love as her first Cdrama and so far also loved TFF and more recently, Love Between Lines and POJ.

I am not faulting anyone.I am just saying what I saw and if you understood the context of my comment, you would not take it as pinning it on anyone. The fact that I said I can feel the chemistry, should have made it clear. In addition, the director has a say in how the kisses are done. We are not shown a clear view of the kiss, and I from facial movements, I concluded Ci Sha's lips were moving. Directors tend to use bright lights to block out the actual kisses. I paid attention to the scene for when my friends ask me if there were any "real" kisses. And note that I ended my comment to which you seem to take offense saying I can feel the leads' chemistry. Take it as you will. Read for inference.

As for placing fault, the only reason I responded to you was because of your comment about kisses in Cdramas. There are plenty of "good" kisses in Cdramas. Each director has his angle. And again, I still feel the lead's chemistry. I love watching and I am thrilled we have arrived at their married stage.

First of all, the camera blocks most of it, but I can see from certain angles that Ci Sha's lips are moving. If you read again, you will see that I said I can still feel the leads' chemistry. I made an observation. That is all that it was.

His intelligence makes him attractive. He has this calmness about him.

I gave up on Kdramas long time ago but I can see they seem to have more viewers here on MDL.

There are good kiss scenes in Cdramas. I think with A Splendid Match it is only Ci Sha moving his lips, but I can still feel the leads' chemistry.

I didn't think I would love TFF because I dropped ZRN's previous dramas. I tried it for BJT and ended up loving TFF I could hardly move on. I even slowed it down so I could hear every single word. It was so beautiful to watch.

Let's hope they didn't cut the wedding scenes or something like that. This is what happens when they cut episodes. I prefer an extended happy ending.

Then just go to Forever and Ever. The leads have a mature relationship.

I watched Forever and Ever first because I wanted to avoid the ending to One and Only. But I was so curious about their past so I watched it. It broke my heard and it is a good thing I had already seen the happy ending to Forever and Ever.
