No. I felt sorry for him in the end. LR didn't even help him staunch the flow of blood. He looked so alone.I admire PWX for showing empathy. I don't want to say more in case you have not seen it yet.
I love our main couple also. PWX is my favorite character in this drama.

I couldn't watch anything else while watching this. I was fully invested in this couple. All new dramas out now paled compared to the couple in this drama. I already finished The Double before TPR came out.

Oh I loved PWX in this and also the scene where he just marches up those stairs with all those swords pointed at him.

Jin Mai's performance was amazing. It is no wonder the director chose her. Every inflection of her voice and changes in her expressions were well played out. Her chemistry with ZLH was also natural. I heard they have another collaboration but I am not sure if this is true.

I agree. The tone of opinions in this drama group was abhorrent. It is self explanatory just scrolling through here. Look at the top in discussion and you will see a perfect example.

You are right about the comments in here. It is unfortunate that more people did not appreciate the couple. The comments were definitely worked as a mood killer and I got to where I scrolled past most of them to see comments. Some friends have told me they stopped engaging in here due to the negative comments. I can't comment on international vs cnetz as I am not familiar with cnetz. But not all groups are like this. I have had great experiences with even with differences of opinions.

Yes! I enjoyed ZLH's portrayal of PWX. It's too bad we didn't get see more of him this way even though there were hints of this side of him here and there. But even so, it was evident his character was brave, strong, loyal, humorous, adorable, loving, brilliant, and capable of petty jealousy 😂

Yes. The ending was good even though there was a scene I was hoping to see which they did not include. I will still watch the episodes again after better subs come out but I had not problem whatsoever understanding. The subtitle at one point said,"propaganda" for Pei Wen Xuan!

I finished it and my only complaint is that we did not get to see the kids and I would have liked to have seen the wedding. I did not have any problems with LR
screaming for SRQ to come out of the fire and even PWX did also. I felt sorry for SRQ in the end so I can understand LR. Even PWX asked SRQ why he didn't dodge the sword.

We are going to have to agree to disagree. I see LR and PWX in a different perspective. There were so many instances I read comments of outrage but when I watched the episodes it did not detract from the PeiRong couple. The scene where SRQ saved LR didn't bother me the way it did some. Maybe it is because I was firm in perception of PeiRong. It was quite clear by then who LR loved. Even SRQ said he didn't try to marry her in this life because he knew she loved PWX.He explained that he proposed to her because he thought PWX was dead and he didn't mean to offend. her. Would I have liked more PeiRong in the final episode? Yes I would but that was some sword fight and I think the director was trying to create some fabulous drama scenes. I am hoping there is a an extra episode showing married life and kids. Thank you for the conversation. I hope you understand we just have a different perspective. What is your next drama?
