I do the same. i tried not watching HL for a year but the problem is that I watched it 10 times the summer it came out that it is hard to forget. I try to stay away from all the best dramas so I forget but sometimes I cannot stay away for more than 6 months. I have already watched ep 7 of TSOPG twice today. Stay strong and hold out for another week.

It is soooo good. But you know Lu Si is always good. And I can feel the chemistry between the leads. The sml is a nice guy but there is no comparison so on my end there is not even an ounce of SML syndrome. Just try to hold off till next weekend. Do what I intended to do which was to rewatch HL. I already rewatched LLTG about a month ago. Good luck. You can blame me if you start and throw accusations at me all you want. Maybe it will be a distraction for me😂

It is unfortunate that some of the reviews are misleading to those who have not watched this. Those who titled their reviews as The Legend of SRQ or something like that did TPR and the actors a injustice.

I wish someone would confirm it is a HE because if not I am going to be so depressed. If I already feel so connected after only a few episodes, it is going to be difficult at the end if it doesn't end well. Lu Si usually has happy endings but I Liu Yu Ning's character did not end well in A Journey to Love. I usually finish the drama out of curiosity but in this case I stopped at ep 35 because I could not stand to watch.

I want more. I will have to watch that scene again and all his little smirks. I don't know exactly what it is with him but the more I watch him is the more I love him and this started when I saw him in A Journey to You.

I am eager to see more progress with their relationship. He is so jealous as it is. They are slowly building the tension between them but I can feel it deep in my soul 😍🔥💗

I just finished ep 8 and suffering now. Go watch HL or something and stay off the page for your own good! I should have resisted!

Liu Yu Ning in ep 7. OMG! He was amazing. That little smirk of his just before he wiped out those who hurt Duanwu. Please let this end well for him and Duanwu.

I have been telling everyone I know about TSOPG! It is amazing. I am not sure if I can rewatch the first couple episodes right now as they had me on the edge of my seat. Usually when I love a drama this much I keep rewatching while I wait. Someone added a drama to the recommendation list and said that drama was the most anticipated drama of the year. I hadn't even heard of that drama till it was posted here, so I guess that person succeeded in promoting her most anticipated drama. But I had TSOPG on my list for so long.

Yes! I started a rewatch to hold myself back from watching The Story of Pearl Girl until more episodes are out. However, I couldn't resist Lu Si's new drama and started that. HL is a permanent rewatch for sure!

Don't you think any drama with Lu Si is promotion in itself? There is a friend of mine who is not as picky as I am when it comes to actors, and even she was excited when I told her there was a new Lu Si drama. I was surprised when she started gushing over the way Lu Si plays everything so well. She tells me I am too picky when I refuse to watch certain dramas because I don't like certain actresses as she says she watches for the story. But even she is quite thrilled with Lu Si as an actress.

I loved The Double also! Duke Su spells CHARISMA!

I loved ep 11 when she ran after him. It was in contrast to the past when she just watched him leave. This time she ran after him in the rain and when he saw her struggling to explain herself to him, he softened. I loved the way ep 11 ended with them walking back to the carriage together.

I didn't like what she did in her past life either but I think the point of this drama was to make it so drastic that the second chance arc was more effective. I watched the drama for their second chance story and loved their chemistry. I loved ZLH in this role. He made PWX one of my favorite characters of all time and I am not alone as PWX was trending as #1 in popularity for weeks while TPR aired. I loved ZLH in Story of Kunning Palace but his role as PWX made me love him even more as an actor. I am looking forward to NiuMai's second collaboration. They are lovely together in many ways.
