There are some like you who probably didn't see it at first but are open to seeing more. Some refuse to stop hating LR. To me it was the way the y both looked heartbroken just before they died and the disbelief that they ended that way that told me they loved each other deep down. Then I noticed LR was more emotional where PWX was concerned and she did not look devastated when she found out SRQ killed her.

She is famous! Both Jin Mai and Lu Wei were child actors. Lu Wei is known as China's little boy. I hear people calling Jin Mai affectionately as Mai Mai. She is clearly talented and beautiful.
I agree especially as it was in ep 11 when the misunderstanding was cleared up. It is obvious to me that LR loved PWX in both lifetimes. The difference with people who give this a 10 at the early part is that they can go back and change their rating. But those who drop and leave a low rating without watching to see where the drama is going or the reasons behind a character's actions is not being fair.

It is a matter of perspective and perhaps the director wanted to mislead to keep the viewers wondering. There are two camps in the TPR group. I am in the camp that never believed the princess loves SRQ. I think she felt he was the closest to her in her previous life but it was her husband she loved. That is evident by the way both PWX and LR were heartbroken when they died thinking the other killed.
In the scene where SRQ, proposed, LR did not pause because she was trying to decide if she wanted. By this time it was even more evident that LR loved PWX by her reaction to the news that he had died. She refused to believe it and kept writing his name over and over. Then she wrote him letters. If you had watched further you would have seen what was written in those letters. Therefore, when LR paused as she remembered the past when she thought she had made a mistake choosing PWX instead of SRQ after she was led to believe PWX killed her. If you had watched further, you would have found out more of the reason why LR cannot admit her love to PWX. Her character is complex being who she is and the way she was raised. But her reluctance to confess her love to PWX had nothing to do with SRQ. She does not want or love SRQ. If you had watched further you would have seen the way LR fussed over PWX like a wife and know that it was never a decision between SRQ and PWS. It was PWX who she had in her heart always.
Trust me, if I thought LR liked SRQ, I would not have continued also. And let me tell you, ZLH is amazing in this. He is authoritative when he in command and yet so doting on LR and absolutely adorable. But if you have already decided that LR wanted SRQ, then I understand why you would not want to continue. But you are wrong and if you had continued you would have seen that LR loved only PWX in both lifetimes. I am not bashing you as I understand how hard it is to continue with a romance drama if one thing does not sit well with you. As I said before, it is perspective. But if you had continued you would have seen you were wrong about LR. I focused on how LR treated PWX and it was clear to me she loved him.

I thought about you while I watched PWX in ep 29. All those different expressions from the look of innocence in court, the smirks when things went his way, the outrage, and the flick of his toward the indicating his choice of compensation 😂 I don't know how ZHL does it but he never disappoints. Well, I am off to watch ep 30.
Just finished ep 29. ZLH did not disappoint. I don't know how he does it. PWX went from one emotion to the other and made me laugh. I loved the way he inclined his head toward the bath for his "compensation." Going back to watch ep 30. I hope it is just as fun.
