You can always give ABAY a try. If you like the actress you might like it. Even though there are many kiss scenes, she looks like she is going through the motions. The drama lacked emotional build-up. It was a combination of things for me including the visual aspects. The FL is poorly styled. Visuals count for me to make it believable. Usually, when a ML tells the FL she looks gorgeous it makes me smile. In ABAY, I didn't find it believable. I enjoy her in comedy and family relationship-type dramas but not romance.

I didn't watch Love's Rebellion. I was going to start it once all the episodes were out but then I read the ending was not great. I didn't mind skipping it because I wasn't sure about Jing Tian with ZLH. I saw a live stream and ZLH called her "teacher" and he was not as relaxed with her as he is with Mai Mai. Jing Tian was so nice though and she complimented him but I was still into PeiRong and loved him with Mai Mai and didn't get the right vibe with the cp from LR. But I was going to try as I kept reading that ZLH was amazing in it. I am not a fan of endings that make me cry.

But if you don't mind her, you might like ABAY. Try it because many loved it. But then again, there are others who feel the same as I do. Did you see Rising With the Wind? The FL in RWTW is amazing as a business woman . But in ABAY the FL is annoyingly weak. Xu Kai plays the businessman well.

You didn't finish TPR and I love it! I was so invested in the unique chemistry between the leads that nothing took away from it. I loved PWX and this is the drama that made me love ZLH even more! I will put up with some things if the chemistry is great for me.
