The discussion group in TPR is a strange mix. Some are blind and have selective hearing. There are aspects of the plot regarding the previous lifetime that would have made me pass had I known it before. But Jin Mai and ZLH have totally owned it. The chemistry is unique and I could see they loved each other in both lifetimes. A misunderstanding caused them to separate in the previous life but that was quickly cleared up in the present. Many comments will lead you to believe LR wants the sml but that is not true. The FL character appears restrained as she is The Princess Royal but she is also smart and kind. The first few episodes are rough considering her treatment of the ML but it doesn't happen again. I love the chemistry. The problem with the couple is that the FL is afraid to admit her love for the ML but it was obvious she did. Many of the members in the group are going by preconceived conceptions of the FL and some dislike her for what they read in the book. And yet they are still watching after 26 episodes 😂
That's one chinese drama i will never get over. It hurt me so much when the show finished and i found out everything…
I haven't watched Scent of Time yet, but even after a dream, dramas will still have both leads existing in real life. Was the ML not in her world once she woke up?
That was my fav part as well, I also enjoyed the scene when pwx came back from work and cuddled lr in bed 🥰
The "old married couple" vibe is the part that makes this chemistry so unique. Even though they were still evolving as a couple, they never forgot how they felt to be married and slept in the same bed as if it was the most natural thing to do. I loved the way PWX cuddles and now LR isn't just turning away from him, she sleeps with her head on his shoulder 💗

It was the turning point for them. LR was hurt PWX thought she didn't care. Sweet PWX ran out of patience but it led to LR pouring her heart out. I watched this scene in context and not going to overthink it. Just going with the flow and happy to see that they let it all out. I really hope those who keeping saying she doesn't love PWX and wants SRQ paid attention to what she said.

They have loved each other in both lifetimes. In ep 11 you will see a difference but LR takes a while to fully admit her love. However, it was obvious with the way she takes care of him when he is hurt etc. Don't let the negative comments get to you. I love this couple. Both Jin Mai and ZLH are excellent. Great chemistry. If anyone thinks PWX is just a pet, they missed a chunk of this drama. He is brilliant, assertive, and commanding. I laughed when he complained to the emperor about LR with that pleading voice of a man suffering 😂 I love all sides of PWX. He is absolutely perfect! Lucky LR!
