That boat scene was beautiful seeing when PWX hugged LR as soon as he saw how upset she was. I was touched by the way he listened with tears in his eyes loving his Rong Rong.
I was happy about the letters. We saw her writing them and knew how much she loved him. She said she refused to believe he had died and this was her way of dealing with it. For some and I can tell you, writing letters to a spouse who died is one way people talk themselves through pain.
P.S. I undertand some people have issues with the kissing scene. I read comments and empathize with the feelings but I scroll by.

Charisma! I watched his face just to see his reactions. That man can do things with just a smile or a lift of an eyebrow. I am waiting for the day he costars with someone like Lusi. When I saw him in Amidst a Snowstorm of Love, it was the only time I was ever so invested in a secondary couple.
I enjoyed ep 25 and 26 and made sure I watched them and the preview for 27/28 before reading any comments here. I loved that PWX and LR communicated and shared what is their hearts. Loved seeing sweet PWX as a brilliant strategist. It was obvious through this drama that PWX is intelligent and a perfect match for his princess.
For those who doubted LR's love for PWX, I don't what to say if you didn't see it today.
I love your reviews and laughed through parts of this one even though I rated it much higher. To tell the truth I wouldn't have love it as much without Duke Su! The drama kept be going to see what happened next. I think the FL did an excellent job playing her part but I am not one of those wanting them to work together again. I loved the flirty duke. He made me very happy, hence the high score. But as I said, the plot kept me going.
I watched this last summer when it came out. And rewatched, And rewatched. Another excellent review! Totally agree about the age difference. I couldn't believe the nonsense that was going on about the age difference. Jiaxu was so sweet and kind to young Sang Zhi. There was nothing dark about it. This is one of the best feel good dramas ever!
You should see him in lost you forever, his acting is great!
I was waiting for season 2 before watching season 1. Looks like there so many great actors including Tan Jian Ci! I know his character might not end well...not to spoil it for you.
