I like Xu Kai. He might be different ZLH but he has expressive eyes. I dropped some of his dramas due to plot lines such as S&F but both liked Xu Kai and Esther Yu. The other dramas the actresses didn't match as Xu Kai for me or I don't like them. I can see him with Jin Mai and of course I would also love to see her with Cheng Yi. She is such a talented and beautiful actress she will fit with any of these actors.

I agree. Love Jin Mai. I am hoping Xu Kai and JIn Mai will do a drama together. I haven't been thrilled with some of Xu Kai's costars lately. Not to say I am not enjoying ZLH! I love him. He is such a great actor. He knows how to do the jealous act so well. He is a delight in TPR.

I love this couple! I also watched The Double and watched a couple mini dramas after until The Princess Royal came out.

Jin Mai has a nice style. Funny you should mention eating. There is another actress in a new drama who spoils it for me all the time. She is good in some scenes but when I cannot stand to watch her eat. And when she is happy, she jumps up and down. But Jin Mai is natural and graceful. I love her!

I prefer when they use the ost from the drama.

I love Jin Mai and ZLH portrayal of LR and PWX. They make is so adorable and touching.

I wish I could hold back. I don't like watching a few a day then have to wait. I prefer to binge watch. I especially want to see the boat scene not because of the kiss but to see how they work it out. I love PWX. He is adorable and brilliant!

I totally agree. At least The Double added a 5 min bonus to help viewers but why not just make it happy in the first place. Have you seen Bright Eyes in the Dark? I loved it but the ending makes not to want to rewatch. It has an "open" ending but some it was definitely sad. I went round and round in circles with that ending.

I didn't read the novel but from comments, the novel had a happy ending and he returned. Duke Su's two subordinates did not die in the book. Their deaths were unnecessary. The director got a lot of scolding on Weibo for what he did.
