The end was mawkish and crap. The turtle bit was not even half checked with Google and veterinary advise: anyway,…
Zhou Ye is not an actress I Iook forward to watching but I was hoping she would be better here. I have not watched it yet and not sure I will now. While I liked LMLMV, I got tired of listening to the sounds she made every time there was food.

I am done responding to you. Read the comments of Kinara and koreanbosuji. You make no sense.

The drama is okay but I realized that ML didn't know that he's the father or did I missed it?
He knew. He never once doubted it.

Just finished watching this and it was so beautiful I bawled uncontrollably. This proved to me to never underestimate…
100% agree! There is something about the ML's gazes that simply sizzles and the way the FL is so naturally loving towards him. I loved Jing Yi's portrayal of a FL who understands her guy. She stood by him through thick and thin. She is a strong FL.

Ummm .. she does MOSTLY stay with him .. But there is THAT pre-climax moment which makes her turn away from him…
Totally agree. She was always there for him.

LOL .. How many?Me : Thrice
There is too much pain in ep 23 for me to watch it so many times. I watched it 3 times last year and starting on the 4th time.

It's a pretty good drama but what I cannot understand is how some females can fall for a male like Li Xun. He's…
This is because the FL understands the ML. She knows who he is and what he is and she loves him all the more. Deservedly so.

the glorification of toxic relationships in dramas is the bane of my (online) existence. i tried watching some…
I give you credit for acknowledging that since you haven't seen more than just clips of this you cannot give an informed opinion. If you ever decide to watch this one day, you will see, the ML loves the FL the most. He will do anything if it means her happiness. He supports her in a way that helped her grow in strength. He might not be the most verbally romantic, but he is there for her and she knows and understands him. The love they have for each other makes it so hard to move on. I am not pushing you to watch this, I am just sharing my views as someone who has watched this in full three times. L&P has a special place in my heart and much of it has to do with the ML. He suffered so much for someone his age, and yet he has the kindness to help those around him. There is no "glorification of toxic relationships" in this drama. There is unconditional love, acceptance of who we are, supportive characters, working hard to succeed, never giving up, and enduring love. The glory is in the way Li Xun got up whenever he fell.

Li Xun's character is that of a hero. And in ep 23 he became the fallen hero. But he dug himself out of the hole and went back to building his dream against all adversities. And thank goodness for our FL who is in no way week or obsessive. How did anyone label him "toxic" and a "narcissist?"

Li Xun has my heart. I cried for him because he suffered so much in his life and all he wanted to do was achieve his vision of helping those with medical needs. It was painful to watch him go to jail. It broke my heart. He didn't deserve that but I know it is drama. Thank goodness for the quick time skip. The last time I rewatched this past summer, I told myself to skip ep 23 but I could not. As painful as it was to watch , it was so beautifully done. The performance of both leads was amazing. It went straight to my heart.

I question your opinion. It lacks reasoning. Did you really watch Lighter& Princess? How did you watch the ML and arrive at "toxic?" Did you see him try to help his family financially when his mother was sick? Did you see him protect his sister? He was surrounded by people who cared about him including the FL. Toxic people do not gather devoted friends. Even his prison mate was loyal to him. Why do you think that is? He was a genius focused on working toward his dream that would help others. Where in that did you see toxic? He was a man working to accomplish his goals honestly. And when he knew he was going to be in jail for a while, he entrusted his company to a friend who stole everything from him. And yet in the end, when he found out that Gao had a tumor, he did not destroy him. There is nothing evil in Li Xun. As for the FL's mother, she should know that people make mistakes and that her daughter loves Li Xun. If the FL was a victim, it was because of how her parents treated her.

I loved the FL for the way she knew what she wanted and went after it. She gave her support to Li Xun when she found out Old Gao stole his company. That is the power of unconditional love not "obsession." And even though Li Xun had the brains to retrieve what belonged to him, it was the FL who gave him support. From the moment he saw her back when he went to her house in the rain, she became "princess." She offered him an umbrella to shelter him from the rain, and even though he rejected her offer then, she became his shelter. It was give and take. After they met again, he gave her an umbrella. Even if he appeared to ignore her, it was obvious he would protect her with his life.

Where in all this did you see a ML who was a "narcissist?"

Your comment that the high rating has more to do with the side characters is laughable. The chemistry between the leads sizzles...and sizzles...and sizzles....

You can have your opinion. But your so-called opinion lacks reasoning.

I think it is the whole package. The gazes, the music, and the love and support they gave each other.

I was out shopping when I saw her response with something about it being her opinion and I was too busy to read it. Still can't be bothered because she makes no sense but let me go read your comment. I don't know what I can say to someone's "opinions" when it has very little backing.

I will give it a try but I started it when it came out and I felt so sad for the ML. He looked so abused.
