I know what you are saying but I think the way they built it up till the first kiss felt slow. I think that is what people mean by slow burn. This drama focused on getting the couple together at the start then after introducing the obstacles and everything else. I love AASOL. After this, I will have no patience for any drama that waits till the last episode for the couple to get together.

I get bored easily too but with AASOL, I back it up to repeat scenes and rewatch. Even rewatching for the 4th time I am still enjoying it.

Same for me but I fast forwarded through some of WIFTY and finished it. I loved HL and rewatched the episodes as I waited for more.

Kinara! We have one difference in our likes. I loved HL and couldn't understand how WIFTY could be as high as HL. I found the secondary couple in WIFTY so boring. I only watched WIFTY in between HL episodes as they were both released at the same time. I didn't see any growth in the FL in WIFTY.

I loved HL. It was sweet and there was some emotional depth. But if it is not for you, it is not for you. Lusi was adorable and so was CZY. The chemistry was so good.

I looked at the people who gave AASOL low reviews. There was person who gave this a 1 and I doubt that person even watched it. I looked at her profile and she has all Kdramas on her list with nearly all of them with ratings of 10 and few 9.5. The only place you will see a Cdrama is in her "dropped list." She has about 5 of them including Hidden Love, AASOL, Lost You Forever...It is as if she just wants to lower the rating of the top Cdramas.

Then I recognize some members who have given this low ratings. I recognize them from another group. They were outraged at people who downrated that drama and yet those same people who objected came in here and did the same. How hypocritical.

And yet, AASOL is at a high of 8.7 and I wonder if it will go up one Netflix releases it.

Well, some might say it was fast because they got together early, but others feel it is slow burn because it sizzled for while. There were many gazes and close kisses before it happened.
