I wish these screenwriters and directors would choose different endings for the characters.

I was so disappointed in how it all turn out for them. I felt the emperor finally showed he could care about someone else. I saw good in him when he fell in love.

I was upset with XiYang too, but I tried to see things from her pov. I didn't like the fact that she hurt her brother because he was worried about her. However, I wanted her to have her happy ending with the emperor. I liked him. I saw good in him and wanted him to find happiness with XiYang. It was sad to see what happened to him.

I love that you still gave this a rating of 10 even though the ending was disappointing. I am the same. I don't forget how beautiful the rest of drama was because of the ending. I agree with you about the romance. It might not have been the focus but the chemistry was there the minute they met. I loved them so much I could cry just thinking about them. But I don't regret watching this beautiful drama. You wrote beautifully!

Liu Yuning is the reason I watched POB. He has charisma...everything. I am happy there was a HE for him here.

I better slow down then. I am still away from home and the only time I get to watch in peace is in the early hours of the morning or late at night. I do not want to get to the angst and have to wait. I am scared to search for info on the angst.

CXX's facial expressions, posture, voice, and his character's confidence and intelligence makes him incomparable in this drama. And not to mention his good looks. Well, back to the ep 7 for me!

I want to catch up but I don't want it all to end too soon. I can't even read the subtitles at times because I can't take my eyes of CXX🤭 I heard mention of a sml syndrome, but to me that is impossible here. Not with CXX.

Ep 5 was hilarious! LBL is soooo good! Love it!!!
