In SOM, the sml was annoying but I saw his purpose. He was like her father who didn't want to feel less capable than his wife. Yusen allowed her to shine.One theme in SOM was gender roles. Yusen treated her like an equal, but the sml put her down to make himself feel he was above her.

Yes they do! I should do a count of lip kisses. In SOM I think I counted the 13 kisses reported by Mai Mai. This included the 3 goodbye car kisses that were pecks. But I did not count the forehead kiss.

I counted the kisses in SOM but here I didn't. I was sure if the appleseed kiss was one kis. In SOM I only counted the lip to lip kisses😂
On rewatch I will definitely count. I am only going to count lip to lip kisses and I don't believe there are 27 of those!

It is a good thing I watched ep 28 again. I must have been really tired at 6 am and I know I closed my eyes at some parts. I didn't realize I missed 3/4 of 28. I didn't even see the kiss through the car window until now. I wonder what else I missed. I am going to watch from the start now until I fall asleep.

Try Ski Into Love. The editing is choppy due to the fact they had to reduce the number of episodes but she is adorable in it and I laugh out loud watching her. I rewatched this weekend since my friends wanted to watch. And it was so much fun.

Esther plays cute so well. She might have been 28 or so at the time but she still looks like a 20 year old. Asians tend to look younger. And the leads are about the same age. I don't like older women tropes so I just simply avoid them especially when the actress is 20 years older than the ML. I think some like this older woman trope and that is up to them, but not for me.

Shine on Me is a good one but the leads don't officially meet till around ep 4 or 5. The ML is similar to the one in LBL and once they get together, they are so sweet and never break up.

The father wasn't as bad as someone made it seem.

I feel as obsessed with LBL as I am with SAL. This is the reason I am recommending it. And the mystery is also interesting.

I am glad I am not alone. LBL will always be one to the best. It was different too so I can't really compare. All I can say is that the chemistry is right up there with all my favorites I obsess over. I wouldn't be surprised if it moved up to 9. This reminds me to rate the rest of the episodes.
