She is crazy! A heard about her and watched only a few mins of it and came to the conclusion she is not too bright.

Exactly! In every show there are people making a big deal out of nothing. There was nothing ugly in this show. It is in the minds of the accusers. I was shocked when I started seeing comments while I was watching this beautiful show. That youtuber has people listening to her nonsense.

So true! I think the people making a big deal just wanted to lower HL's rating.

I think people were just looking for problems based on a review done by a youtuber. The 5 year gap is not a big deal.

It is such a beautiful drama and well worth watching. It will have you smiling with joy.

True. It is such a beautiful show. The people who rated 1 are deliberately trying to lower the rating. Are you saying people who say they love the show only rated it 8? Considering there were some people who are deliberately trying to lower the rating, those who love the show should give it a higher rating to counteract the false 1's.

Exactly! And I notice Jing Yi has a way of looking her guy right in the eye. I think that is part of her natural acting because I saw her do this in L&P, BEITD, and Fall In Love. And of course, Chen Feiyu in L&P has those eyes. There is so much emotion in his eyes you can feel it! I plan on rewatching again next summer but I start getting anxious around ep 22 because I know ep 23 is so difficult to watch!

Lighter & Princess has something I have not found in any other show and I think it is the combination of the leads.

She does look a bit like Zhang Jing Yi. I rewatched Lighter & Princess this summer right after I watched HL and it was so hard to move on. I love it so much. The ML acted as if he didn't care but he was aware of everything to do with the FL and would do anything for her. And the FL understood him and accepted him for who he was. I loved their chemistry.

If you loved this girl's natural acting, you should watch Zhang Jing Yi in Lighter and Princess. I also loved ZJY in Bright Eyes in the Dark but it has an open ending. However, I don't regret watching because of all the beautiful moments. And as I said before, Wang Chu Ran is another natural actress.

I will watch it after the holidays.

He has an upcoming drama with Wang Chu Ran who I feel is a perfect match for him. He also has an upcoming movie with Zhang Jing Yi who is another perfect match.

I loved the main couple. Healthy supportive relationship. Zhang Jing Yi is a favorite of mine. Every romance drama I have watched with her has been difficult to move on. She is so convincing in her love for her ML.

😩 I don’t know if I should watch it. I know some shows are worth it.

Well that makes it quite clear what to expect from this show! LOL! I will have to get myself ready to watch this show😂

It might be like Bright Eyes In the Dark. I loved the couple and the ending was beautiful in itself even if it haunted me for days!
