I loved FOMH and I am loving this one too. It is too early to say which is better. Bright Eyes in the Dark is just at the start of the relationship. FOMH was a second chance love story. It all depends on what you like. I don't have a preference for either tropes. I just want to see great chemistry between the leads. FOMH had a few filler episodes and Bright Eyes in the Dark started with a long introduction to firefighters that some found draggy and boring. I can look pass these episodes and enjoy the story. By ep 8, I started to see signs of great chemistry but still have to wait to see how it goes. In the meantime, I really like this actress as well as Wang Chu Ran from FOMH.

LOL! I had just watched the ML looking at the Nan Chu and that was all in my head! Going to watch ep 10 now and I hope they grow closer. Maybe I will not watch anymore till more episodes come out but now I am really loving it I might not be able to stop myself. There are other shows that have been completed that I still need to watch.

Yes. She asks so silly but I am not sure if she will do anything to harm the FL.

The reason I am watching is because it is an excellent production and I want to see the leads together. I am planning on watching but I really do not like open endings whether happy or not. But this show seems to be worth it.

I am hoping to see more of Nan Chu dancing, especially with the Lin Liu Xiao around.

I know. Those annoying ones cause me anxiety! One of the girls looks like she would be spiteful to Nan Chu.

I realized that as I was scrolling through here to see your response. Ha! Ha! Yes, I think the the sml didn't like her at first so it seems sudden that he is liking her now. I am loving Johnny Huang looking at her. I cannot wait till they get together and there better be some kiss scenes.

Jhang Ying Yi is one of my favorite actresses because her acting is natural and she never acts childlish. I could never see her in those roles. She doesn't do anything that is annoying. There are some actresses who I see people love but there is something about them in their expressions that annoy me. Well in some. But I absolutely enjoy watching Jhang Ying Yi. I loved her in Lighter and Princess and I hope this turns out to have great chemistry too.

I loved the way he was looking at her! I hope we see more of the romance scenes. Judging from ep 9, it is going to be so good. Well, I hope!

I started My Journey to You but had to watch this show. I should just finish watching My Journey to You and wait for more episodes to be released for this one but I cannot help myself. I think with My Journey to You, I am not looking foward to the ending.

I also loved FOMH. After ep 9, I am really loving this one too but have to wait to see where it goes.

I expected to love this due to the Jhang Jing Yi. She is such a natural actress. Loved her in Lighter and Princess. I am not saying I loved the first couple episodes of BEITD, but I stuck with it because I enjoyed her other dramas.

I didn't watch ep 10 yet. Going to get some things done first then watch before bed. I enjoyed ep 9 so much and I hope we don't get an evil mom added to this. Wait, what do you mean by "parents again?" I must have missed the first part. I did see her mom calling her in a previous episode.

I can understand you feeling this way if you only watched the first 4 episodes. I don't know why they chose to start the show this way because it didn't hook me. It was my love for this FL actress that kept me going and let me tell you, after episode 9, I am really loving it. I might be wrong but I feel they are developing some chemistry here that is going to be really great. I did not fast forward once in ep 9 and I love the way the ML looks at the FL and the tenderness he is already showing her. He might try to pull away later due to the risks with his job, but he is falling in love with her judging by the way he treats her and the way he looks at her. I think Jhang Jing Yi is doing really well in the show.

I laughed in ep 8 when she told him he was not her type!

I just finished ep 9 and I am loving it. I knew Zhang Jing Yi would work her magic. She is always so good connecting with the ML. Johnny Huang is doing his thing too and I can feel the chemistry. I love the way the ML is showing the FL some special care. His is not just tough. He is showing a soft spot for his FL. I know this drama started out in a way that doesn't grab the attention of someone looking for romance, but if people would not just give up and give it a chance, they would see it is a great show. I did not fast forward once in ep 9. I really didn't want to get hooked and was going to wait till it all came out before starting, but this show has me hooked. I am feeling the vibes!

Yes. I really like the actress so I am going to watch it. If there are any parts I don't want to watch, I will fast forward. I like that the FL is a dancer and I want to see if she wins the competition.

It gets better. I am seeing a promise of great chemistry between the leads. It does seem like a commercial at times and I dint know why they would start the drama in a way that many would drop it. I really like the actress and going to keep watching, did you see the part where she danced while the ML watched? That was ep 8 I believe. I will let you know if I feel the magic we felt from Lighter and Princess.
