I knowww! I can't believe I fell into this obvious thirst trap drama on the FIRST DAY of airing and now I have to find other shows to pacify me while playing this one episode a week game again...

I know a lot of emotional labor went into both writing this and researching other viewers' sentiments, so thank you. Two very good points in this 1) a disappointing lack of outrage toward some really harsh bigotry displayed by Type and 2) that Tharn would obviously not retaliate this way if he knew the root of Type's intolerance (but trauma should not excuse bigoted harassment). And yeah, Tharn could have had Type kicked out of school in a hot minute just by taking a picture of the signs Type posted after destroying his stuff, but instead he just responds with a hickey prank and some flirty teasing because, poor guy, he has a thing for Type. I hope this isn't as painful as Theory of Love and watching a heart get stomped. :(

That was lkajhsdf;lkasdjf and the main leads' chemistry is AMAZE. Pretty sure that Tharn, especially after reassuring Type's friend, will not take it further and will just let Type wake up thinking the worst, since they're at war. But yeah, he definitely threw a bit extra in there for his own sake, damn. If you haven't yet, you should watch Love by Chance, the parent series, to see if you can deal with these kind of scenarios (mainly present in the last ep or so). I'm overall impressed with Mew's acting to give off such a sexy vibe while arguing with Type the entire episode. The only thing that made me cringe here is the raging homophobia Type is portraying. It made me want to curl up and hide. I have too many loved ones who I'd want to shield from that. I hope Type gets over THAT aspect quickly so they can face off on personal terms, not awful intolerant terms.

Definitely not one to watch for romance, despite the poster, so be warned. I can pull it up on the iQiyi app, but it's unsubbed. It picks up right where the last one left off. I ended up watching the 2nd season raw, which means the greater conspiracy involved is not very clear. The (b)romance element is still on the slight side, and it ends rather abruptly, like they maybe planned for a 3rd season. If not, the ending is still okay, it just won't leave you feeling content. The 2nd season is super talk-heavy: most of it is everyone sitting around discussing secrets/conspiracies in some form or another.

Well that ended sweetly and relatively cleanly. Ki's kiss in the bar was magic - I rarely see a ML shedding tears like that during a kiss - very good acting. Admittedly in the beginning I was sure she'd end up with the other guy, based on past "don't appreciate her til she's gone"-type storylines. I'm glad they resolved the issue with Moji in the last episode, otherwise I would have left this series HOT. I understand how real parents can show up and how they have rights especially if things were out of their control, but if you leave your kid in a box and return nearly 3 years later, I think you should be required to prove some kind of parental fitness *before* leaving with the child to raise with some unknown guy. I'm surprised Ji's family didn't protest - usually things like this can get ugly in dramas, especially with "upperclass" families. But this series dodged some usual tropes that surprised me - like Ki and Kot leaving Aff in that restaurant at the end, lol! So many other dramas would have squeezed every drop of misunderstanding out of that situation. My favorite Ji moment was when he gave her that first bouquet of flowers - it was priceless, her face and those money sound effects - he really did know her! I choose to remember him that way forever.

Well said, and we do need more like this! Love in dramaland is very, very binary so far, and it's interesting to see how this pushes against watchers' hard limits. And it's apparent that the trio do love each other.

Reading some of the comments, I'm confused about what might be disappointing some viewers? For me, even though there's still an episode left, what's impressed me most is what they *didn't* do with the series. The early episodes, while I enjoyed them left me so tense, waiting for the other shoe to drop - for them to make the romance a bitter love triangle, or Miw and Shin bickering love rivals. I love that it just is - the two can both talk about their feelings and acknowledge the place Neo holds in their life without fighting. GMM is really pushing boundaries - when will we see this kind of dynamic again in a drama?! At this point I'd say all 3 of them have in some way faced their feelings and came to terms. And I like that Miw and Shin tried to start over, and seem to be unsatisfied with after going separate ways. Well, it's been such a fun ride. I just hope all 3 of them live at the end.

This has a second season: it's actually split into 2 sets of 12. I'd call the romance in this very slight, so I wouldn't watch this if you were looking for that, since the main genre is mystery. But, there's a few tease scenes (especially around eps 4-5, 10) with some bromance/BL elements, and even hints at GL, imo. Season 2 aired in the same year and the poster definitely is a bit hinty.

It definitely doesn't revolve around the ML and his girlfriend, and her role is pretty unlikable so far. It's not a straightforward plot (as of the first 7 episodes) and there's some mystery/secrets/conspiracy involved, which is unfortunate since the subtitles are not that great.

Miw's feelings toward her ex seem more like guilt and a little bit of gratitude. When he offered to leave with her, she didn't look excited about it at all. I can imagine her ending up alone, taking over her friend's bar or even staying to help out her mom before seeing her with her ex at the end.

Lol. Quality trash tv right here. That melodrama tag was earned. At first I didn't care for the ML, FL or the 2nd ML, but they all grew on me. Especially the 2nd ML! I'm not one to catch SLS easily (maybe one other time only) but he crawled right under my skin! I've never had a 2nd lead go from so hate-able to so compelling. There's a lot of chatter about the deeds of the main ML, but this was just enough manipulation to keep me cackling over my popcorn. It's weird how the main couple had so many sexy scenes but the kisses were GARBAGE. Anyway, I was glued until episode 13, then I had to scroll down and read some spoilers to convince myself to keep going.

Episode 8 was so good!! So much character development! And for once I could cheer for Tur actually aiming at the right person. Now I have hope for Tur and Mae. And Neo, Shin, and Miw are shaping up to be an endearing poly romance, so I hope everyone stops muttering about them "hurting Shin" - I think we're past that? But the next episode preview gives me a bad feeling. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a tragedy. :(
