I watched this for Xing En. Wen Xiu doing all sort of evil things as just a former academic rival were more suited from yuan dao cheng cause his motives might've explained those evil actions much better.

I was gobsmacked to see Ice here though anticipated it since she always gave me lesbian vibes in game sanaeha. I feel like this series main weapon is their main cast. Ice embodied the aesthetic and Memi mirrored it.

This felt like a high-key WANNA BE thriller so it failed to keep my attention and got me bored all the way to the end. I tried reading the novel translation? And tbh it gave away why this felt so weak to me as a thriller. Idk about anyone else but acting was also a bummer to me. So fake that I could barely get myself invested into the story. I finished it in the pursuit of finding its saving grace for me but I was disappointed to find none.

Every single main character here is broken to the core! And guess what kdrama gods serve them with so they could "heal themselves up"? ROMANCE instead of therapy or space. A very blatant romanticism of toxic relationships tbh disguised under a cute name and cover.

She had been a primary mother figure in her sister's life. Watching her destroy her sister's faith in family over a man, of all things was weird. She was portrayed as a successful career woman before her marriage so shouldn't that have given her leverage in choosing a partner she wanted rather than just having to have one? Their partners seemed unlikely to force them to stay despite their traditional views. So, if they can opt for a separation after an affair then why not before? I wish I had seen the content rating beforehand. I think the main thing which went wrong for me with this movie was how I dived into it without knowing it had nudity. I just remembered a wholesome scene from here and thought maybe it was one of those movies where "pure feelings, wrong circumstances and no boundaries crossed" so when I got flashed again and again with their nudity scenes, their relationship automatically went from wholesome to shallow for me and it made me unable to connect with their "love" at all. If it was the other way round then maybe I could be able to savour this. They did have chemistry. I just wish it wasn't so focused on sex cause it made their forbidden affair appear shallow. And the plot holes on top of it made it a total waste of time for me.

I was impressed by how it's name symbolises it's plot well. The actress looked like a teen even after all those time leaps so ngl it was uncomfortable to watch them for a while once they got together. My far-fetched theory is that Alzheimer bomb was mainly dropped so they could minimize their affectionate moments looking weird on-screen due to their miscast.

8/10 for really scaring the shit out of me.
