I think this will be the next jdrama I watch, so I'll let you know if it works for me.

All I've seen is this adaptation, and I honestly have no idea why people are saying the things they are in this comment section. I love the characters & story so far. 🤷‍♀️

I'm enjoying this drama a lot. I binged both seasons, up through S2E4 so far. I don't know the manga or any of the adaptations. I've only seen this.

I was reading through some of the comments here, & I honestly don't see anything really wrong with either Kou or Toma. Especially when considering their age, & given the circumstances & situations they've been in, their actions seem reasonable to me. The only truly toxic & manipulative person I've seen in this drama is the girl who was Kou's former classmate- & even then, the poor girl is still young & going through a lot emotionally. Within a short time, her father died, & she was abandoned by her mother. That's a lot to handle. (Although, yes, that doesn't give her a right to act that way.)

Futaba is rather well grounded for a FL who's character is in High School. Good for her for standing her ground & doing what she feels is right for herself, while still trying to be Kou's friend. That's not even easy for adults to do.

It'll be interesting to see how they tie it all up. I'm looking forward to it.

The movie is called Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru. When I was looking for the full title I saw in the synopsis that they are indeed twins. 🤷‍♀️ I didn't remember that; it's been a while since I saw it.

Yes, I love that jdramas can be unique & bold in their choice of stories & characters

After watching a jmovie where 2 siblings fell in love... nothing I come across in jdramas surprise me anymore. 😅
I like messed up &/or strange characters, but I tend to like the emotionally-broken or psychopathic serial type lol

Ugh. How frustrating. I had a similar problem on Netflix, minimizing the credits on me right away, and showing me a recommendation page with thumbnails of 3 dramas. I wanted to see the actors names at the end of the movie. So I clicked on "back" to see credits full screen, and went back 15 seconds... only for it to minimize right before it got to the actors names again. I tried 3 times, got so frustrated, then gave up. I even have autoplay recommendations & autoplay next episode turned off to try to avoid this!! 🙄
Does turning off autoplay on Viki not help? Just wondering. Because I hope I don't run into this problem myself on there. I'd like to watch this drama. 😕

I have this (MDL) & TV Time app on my phone. That app has a tab that shows when eps of dramas that you are following are airing next.
I use that app to tell me when a drama will air, and this app to remind me where to watch it 😅

And I wouldn't recommend going by MDL comments when deciding on whether or not to watch a drama/movie. I've found absolute gems among some dramas rated low on MDL, which had a lot of negative comments. If the plot sounds good, try out a few eps, and if you don't like it, stop watching. 🤷‍♀️🙃

I agree. Releasing a S2 sooner (rather than later) would be better.

I think this too - the way LDW showed up at the end, like he had just been in a fight - I wouldnt be surprised if he had faked his death so Bale would send his guys to take over the website/company, and so then while Bale was mostly alone, LDW could then "surprise attack" him. Idk. That's my guess. 🤷‍♀️😅

I think I saw somewhere that someone said something about Dec for a S2? But idk if that seems possible. Are they even planning a S2?

My husband & I, along with my parents, were able to see the Minus Color version in an enhanced theater. We all loved it so much!! We were on vacation, & ended up talking about how great the movie was for days.

If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend seeing the "Minus Color" version. In the US, it's only in theaters for a very short while (Jan 26 - Feb 1).

Seeing it in black & white, especially knowing it's the 70th anniversary of Godzilla, felt so authentic & special. And what a moving story too. 🥰 Loved it.

Me too. If I remember, some of them felt like they were even in the middle of some of the scenes. 😕
