LOL 😂 Seriously? Who watches ONE out of 16 episodes, and decides the drama is only worth ONE star based on it? What a joke. And who are you to judge the work that ANY actor decides to do?
This is not a review - You only sound like a complainer, venting all your hate. You're making yourself look incredibly ridiculous.
I tried, but I couldn't get past episode 4. Idk if it was the story, or the acting, ...? And I was purposely NOT comparing it to the original, so I don't think it was that. I can't quite figure out what it is, but it just wasn't holding my interest at all. 😕
I guess I'll put it on hold, & maybe I'll try picking it up again in a month or two. 🤷♀️
What do you mean by angsty? Since everybody feels different, nobody will be able to tell you whether you will…
I'll probably give this one a try! Thanks for the 'summary'! I have so many "guilty pleasure dramas". I honestly love a lot of dramas, since I don't go into them critiquing every little thing. I just enjoy it for what it is. Like you said, even if it's not a so-called "perfect" drama, if I like it, I'll watch it. And rewatch it... probably more than once. 😅

Idk. The overly dramatic & frustrating feeling that older melodramas usually give off. For instance, in The Innocent Man, even the ML & FL were a huge source of frustration & stress, in addition to the plot/storytelling. But despite the story dragging in some episodes, & all the ridiculous clichés (... amnesia, etc) it kept me watching. The kind of story that feels like it's driving you crazy as you watch it, you get frustrated & annoyed, feel like you want to slap a few of the characters through the screen, but you stick around till the very end, and think, "that was good". Lol
So... does this drama give the same angsty & very melodramatic vibes that, for example, a drama like The Innocent Man [세상 어디에도 없는 착한남자] from 2012 gives?
Rurouni Kenshin has 5 action movies:_Release date order: 1_Rurouni Kenshin (2012)2_Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno…
gotchya! 👍 Really, thank you for the thorough explanation. 🥰 [I've been wanting to watch these movies for a long time now, but wasn't sure what order was best to watch them in!]

wow! thank you. So, to sum it up- for those of us who only have access to the 3 on Netflix (Rurouni Kenshin 2012, RK The Beginning, RK The Final) ... watch in that order?
Unbelievable. I just learned about this today, after seeing this actor in many kdramas. He basically restarted…
Wow. But others get canceled over WAY less of issues. SK... that's seriously messed up.
I mean, HOW is this man still getting so many roles? It's very disturbing. I doubt there are that few middle-aged & older male actors that they are being forced to stoop down so low to pick this kind of person. Wth?
And WHY is he in sooo many dramas I have either seen or had wanted to watch?? 😕
hey guys, me and a few other hyemdans (Kang Hyewon fans) actually talked about it but after further inspection…
Prime, Viki, (or Netflix or Hulu/D+, etc)... any legal site & I'll definitely support it by watching it there, even if it means waiting. Thanks for the update/heads-up. I'll keep checking back to see what's up!

I honestly have no idea. But my guess is, if it's going to be picked up by a legal OTT, and it didn't go straight to Netflix or Prime, it may be more likely to eventually be picked up by Viki, although they may have to wait on licensing. But idk. I'm just really hoping they pick it up, like they finally did for The Deal.
Idk why I put off watching this for so long!? I just binged it in less than 2 days. Absolutely loved it. And I'm probably going to go ahead & rewatch it now. 👀😅

Now I'm kinda mad I waited so long before watching it!
Wow~ He really did the action scenes justice. I'm impressed!
The bond he developed with the little girl was precious- probably why he went all out just to save her. 🥹
