Sorry to butt in but any series which has an average of more than 100 million views per episode is considered hit there and for this the data will be counted till March end. Plus this aired on CCTV and got a rerun even before it finished its first run. It even broke the daily view record of Untamed which was 210 million views.
Also this is the only drama that broke 3 in the Datawin index this year so far. For reference only 2 dramas manage to break 3 last year. It was the top drama on datawin chart and vlikage chart during its first run for straight 24 days which is a record. I know some novel or anime fans dont like it but to call it not a hit drama is a bit unfair.

Please dont say 2022. At least lets expect it to air in 2021. We have already waited so long that i want to cry

Chances of it airing tomorrow are next to none. I just heard that the Long Ballad team is confirmed to be going to a variety show to promote the drama which means it will release probably by end of this month as reported. Also Immortality has quite a strong possibility of airing on 8th April. Tencent won't air OOL at the same time as these as other Big IP dramas.
I am just going to wait for the official announcement. Rumors were never true when it comes to Oath of Love

They dont exactly have happy ending but this is just season 1. They just part ways. Hopefully we see a season 2

Actually WOH genre is completely different from this but some audience might overlap and DC is still going on for Non VIP users. I think they will want it to complete 5 billion views before releasing a new Xiao Zhan Drama. But Immortality and Long Ballad are also rumored to start airing soon. They are even a tougher competition.
OOL really missed a chance by not airing it last year when there were not many popular dramas on air. This mid march rumor can still come true though so lets keep our fingers crossed.

I am reading the novel instead right now to quench my craving for DC. The animation style of the anime is just not something I can get used to. I do hope we hear something on season 2 soon

There are strong rumors of a new drama to start shooting in middle of March. And you are right if not for those hateful people, we would have gotten more XZ's dramas last year. I also hope we international fans can support more but all I can do is watch his shows from legal platform and help promote his work
