im unsure what to feel, one one hand its very unique and beautiful but at the same time something feels lacking? its like they are trying to make it special and raw but it still falls short
i have no problem with the characters, i love flawed ones and in this case the whole heart transplant trope challenged the leads morals, which i like to see since people think its so easy to make a choice when its easier said than done, cheating is wrong, there is no roundabout way on that, but life is complex and the heart has a mind of its own
im still on episode 6 at the moment and i dont really fancy the female lead, shes supposed to be this carefree and outgoing person but it feels too superficial, they are trying to hard to deliver a certain message, and im not sure its delivered very well
and oh, i feel so bad for the wife, the way saeko guiltripped miki when she told her to stay away from her man and she goes "naruse is alive isnt he?", i had to roll my eyes
did you even read the post? she's sick and going through a tough period right now, its not like she lost weight…
she has been losing weight because of her depression, from what ive seen, she never stated she got depressed because she was conscious about her weight
your concern is valid but its not the main issue here, yes the beauty standards will always be a problem, but brushing off her struggles as "asian beauty standards" problem is a bit insensitive here, you're downplaying the abuse she faced and everything that she struggled with that led to her depression
this guy is the male version of me, i’m in love LMAO, i love how straightforward he is and all of his responses are well articulated, his acting is great as well and i love how he calls out the hierarchy
up from my dream
