Throughout watching the drama, I really loved it despite it flaws, always tried understanding the characters and…
I feel you. This drama had potential for perfection but I think the ending threw it away. I still like it, but I'm really not satisfied. It has initially set itself a really logical series where everything has a reason, has an explanation and make sense. The ending threw me off, I know they were going for a symbolic and even deep philosophical interpretation (of regret, of calamity, cause and effect, love and hate, etc). But as much as I want to, I can't get myself to like it.π₯² Why did the writer gave up in the end and took the regular xianxia ending trope. We were doing so well beforehand. π
I know her going to the past on their most pivotal moments of regret is the key point. And the whole thing was their love tribulation. But Idk, I'm feeling bummed. There were so many things left unanswered.π₯²
You know I love this drama, but I have to be objective, I didn't like the way the last 4 episodes went. I felt like it was a cheap way of giving a HE. But still, I find it was worth it. It's just it set my expectations so high that I wasn't satisfied with the conclusion.
1st time watching : it's cringe, super cliche, wtf is this low quality acting from the ML π€¨and his no context non-stop smirking.
re-watching : I was so wrong π€£ Joseph portrayed it so well. πThe absurdity of the situation where he is torn between scoffing and laughing. Him wanting to probably shake her to stop this absurd play, and at the same time him not wanting her to stop being clingy. Wanting to hear the truth yet afraid to open old wounds. The portrayal is spot onππ
I've been multiple times wrong with my theories for Feud, but it's fun guessing haha So my next guess is that this would probably involve timetravel, but it's the predestined or circular kind (not the one that create new timelines). Remember the 'kind immortal' who freed BJS, maybe it was HRY all along. Like who else can be powerful enough to undo it.
Also, SZ broke all his meridians years back after being attacked by a fiery bird. I think there is still more to this. None of the scenes in this drama is random, every line seems intentional. Maybe that's related to them jumping into the past and accidentally causing it.
I was in RedNote and this drama had been analyzed to death. Including frame by frame screenshot of scenes not yet aired from the opening and closing credits. The theories range from mindblowing to nonsensical. One of the silliest I've read is that JiangBian is the reincarnation of Goldie the dog. π€£
It is good but I feels it do not bring anything new to the table like Shenli , FoF or TTEOTM.
It's the opposite for me, I dropped all those 3 but really enjoying Feud. I think it's reminiscent of the classic Xianxias but managed to fill the gap/elemens that I feel were missing. So for me it is unique and refreshing.
this comment section is so divided and has chosen a side, if we were in the drama with them, we would be enemies…
True haha If I were in the drama, I'd probably just side with whoever I meet first. Although, tbh I think Canglei Palace looks more fun. π€£ And also because I'd probably forget our gameplan if I'm in HRY's side, her scheme is so complex and requires high level of acting . BJS is just pure vibes, he does everything on his own.haha
I don't like sad ending but for this particular drama I don't mind...if Xiao Jingchan didnt tell hua ruyue about…
I think regardless of what she says or make it seem, she'll never be able to kill him. She can, but she won't. Even at the height of her hatred she simply locked him in the HeavenTurning seal. She is more obsessed on making him suffer, but always finds an excuse not to finish him off. It's love and hate intertwined. At most, she will self destruct with him.
i am feeling angry hearing how still HRY holding gurdges knowing how much BJS suffered.i understand her suffering…
We know she'll come around soon π. I actually like how they handled it, it's a lot realistic. You don't magically let go of centuries of resentment overnight. But we see she is slowly waivering.
But guys why in the Nine Heavens no one was friend with HRY it's so occurred to me because she was a Lord but…
Because she stole BJS's power and terrorized the whole immortal realm, stealing their artifacts so she can revive ShiAn. Naturally, no one would side with her.

It's still top tier for a xianxia, but it could have been so much better.

New timelines were never appealing to me.π

When we're finally getting sweet and peaceful days but the ML is slightly retarded π *sigh*
Anyway, I'll take it, BJS is so darn cute π€π«Ά
