i think ZiYu and HuanYu are brothers with different moms. Shangjue and YuanZhi I think are brothers. The first…
But if succession after the immediate next in line is based on merit, then even if ShangJue was away, the next eligible should be YuanZhi(the poison master). Since it has been established that ZiYu merit-wise is the last among them.

I'm on ep3 and based on the explanation I read it was expected that ShangJue was next in line after HuanYu, and ZiYu only got the throne because ShangJue was away. If they are only cousins, how come ShangJue was next in line and not really ZiYu?
wait, are ShangJue, YuanZhi, HuanYu and ZiYu(ML) brothers? why did I get the impression that only HuanYu and ZiYu were brothers and the other two were their cousins?
or are they like all children of Sword Wielder but with different mothers?
some things I do not understand : why was Momi's mother so cold to her even before all the murders? also, she could have gotten plastic surgery early on if the looks matter so much for her and, couldn't the police have gone to her surgeon to ask how she looks like? it seem she was able to evade the police for atleast a year to have her baby
i'm on the last epsiode but i gotta say that kim kyung ja is so annoying. she is the real villain here. she's…
it's always the extremely religious and cultist people who are the craziest. They no longer see logic and reasoning once they get to the point where they convinced themselves that they received a 'divine calling'
Btw, this show deserves higher ratings. It won't leave you feeling good and there's a lot of disturbing scenes in it, but it's definitely worth the time watching. I binged this and was never bored. It felt like you won't root for any characters because they're all twisted in their own ways, but the series of 'unfortunate events' were really interesting to keep you watching. Nevertheless, by the end of it, I found myself bawling in tears and my heart ached for the FL.
and PS. NANA is so gorgeous! true to saying, the only way to beat the crazy is be crazier.lol
random note : I started this because I saw a presscon clip with the post-surgery Mimo holding pre-surgery Mimo's hand to ease her nervousness. All these time I thought that was Kwon NaRa! HAHAHA I knew Nana is in this series but I kept on expecting NaRa to appear. But it good that I did not read any spoilers or even synopsis, that was a wild ride!
After watching a couple more episodes I do believe the best way to enjoy it is to set your mind from the start to NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. I think it is the marketing's fault that they made it seem this is a reality show, it set misled expectations. The ridiculousness and awkwardness is hard to dismiss unless you really think of it as a comedic show.
If I was part of the planning team, this would have been a good opportunity to do it like 'ONE CUT OF THE DEAD' (japanese film). Has anyone else seen that? It's quite an experience haha
They should have marketed this as a serious Zombie drama (ala SweetHome& AOUAD), then have the viewers wondering why the first couple of episodes it seems like a badly written script, bad acting and awkward actors. And then (THE TWIST!) reveal later on the real set up of production and then redo the sequence with the behind the scenes bit. Because I swear the funniest bits of Zombieverse is when they break character and laugh at themselves and the ridiculousness of the scenarios. 😂
I completely agree, it’s a variety show, I don’t know what people want from it. If they were truly trying…
Exactly, and these actions they do are based on their assigned 'roles', roles that may or may not be influenced by their real life personalities. For sure they are already assigned reliable ones, the weak ones, the fool, the betrayer etc. It's only with these variations that creates interesting scenarios for a show. Probably some people are expecting it to be like the American Survivor haha And the biggest hint is, it is not even tagged as a 'reality show' but it is a variety show. It's meant to entertain and not to be a competitive/thrilling show.
can someone explain me about what happened to himm
I think there was a fan he hooked up with/ dated privately few years ago. The girl took photos of them while in bed (FeiYu was sleeping. Then that girl got married afterwards, and not sure about exact details, but it seems she and the husband tried to extort money using those photos. Initially Feiyu was bashed because they thought he hooked up with a married woman, but the timeline had proven it false. Anyhow, he has always been targeted by cnetz as they couldn't accept that he's a successful nepo baby. So any small issues he has is magnified. But good thing these are not enough to completely cancel him. He's back and hopefully will pick a new series soon. Nepo baby or not, he is sure is talented.
I just finished the first episode and I don't get all these negative comments and complaining. Are these perhaps coming from first time watchers of Korean variety / reality shows?? Of course it's gonna be partially scripted, it will be very difficult and not to mention extremely dangerous to do a hidden cam for such premise. I think they did very well in creating an immersive 'gameplay'. Yes, it more or less like going into a horror house or a escape room , you know it's not real but you will still feel the thrill when you immerse yourself. And it's also not that difficult here considering the zombie actors are so in character, heck I was once in Universal Studios Japan and the halloween zombie event they had truly scared me even though I know they were not real.
Secondly, this is a show, of course all the casts know they gotta create content. So they need to 'play along' and put a balance between acting on their own accord/unscripted and trying not to mess up what the production has prepared for the flow of the show. And also for sure they have their assigned 'roles/characters.
Dindin already learned a lesson with his past experience in 2d1n haha I remember one episode there where they have to go to a series of challenge to unlock the passcode of the door that contains their food. Instead of going thru the challenges like how the flow of the show shld be, he acted as if it's a real life scenario and spent hours trying combination on the lock. I will never forget how elated he was when he opened it and the next moment how guilty he felt when production told them the rest of what they have prepared for the show will not be done anymore.haha If you also watch Runningman, you know they are pros in playing 'games' and going with the flow in these variety shows.
I have yet to see the other negative points in this show, it's sometimes cringe but I wouldn't reject it just because it is 'partially scripted'. And I actually like those red captions whenever they are breaking the fourth wall.
cang xuan is the male lead of the story but xiao yao does not fall in love with him. as a romance story the male…
Thank you. all these time I get confused with the many skinship between XY and TSJ, I thought it was weird for an asian drama if in the end she ends up with CX.
I haven't finished it yet, but I thought all this time that CangXuan is the main ML? haha can somebody spoil it for me pls? why his name appear next to YangZi's in the casting?
I'm on ep19 now, opinion might change in the future, but as of now as toxic as they are, I'm shipping her with Nine-Headed Demon. I feel like despite the abuse she's herself the most when she's with him. They are funny together but at the same time there is also always depht in their conversations. Between the 3MLs, she talks and reveals the most about herself to XiangLu. I guess it's because among the 3, she holds the least expectation from him.😂
I'm on ep17, I'm kinda confused and hopefully somebody can explain. That Chenrong Xinyue princess, is she from the country that was invaded? I thought Chenrong is destroyed and only the army that was hiding is left?
ep 8 now.. it's official, after months and months of mediocre dramas (even the hyped ones) I finally found something good. I'm loving this so far. It's so fast paced and I hope it stays consistent. I like that even though it's a reverse harem, the FL is not a wimp. She's strong and independent but not in an annoying woke way. and the MLs,she's got them all!!!!! Dandere(Shiqi), Tsundere(XiangLu), and I have a feeling main ML is gonna be a Yandere as he's got an 'I'm obsessed with my sister vibes'.

reminds me of goofy reincarnation manhwas haha
Gotta say the color grading reminds me of LLTG.
and Zhang LingHe....my god Zhang Ling He😩 the plot could be zero but that face in that attire will keep you watching. He's so attractive for what🙈
