guys, can somebody help me understand or summarize ep27. I get the whole concept of ninestars, TY exchanging his life for YH when the flower was destroyed. What I don't get is how BXS got involved. What does he mean when he fired the arrow and said he put the heart-protecting-scale back into YH? Isn't the scale with TY? How did BXS even do that? and if the scale could have solved the dillema, why didn't TY force to return it in the first place? HELP PLS.
is the synopsis still correct. IIRC, they traveled a lot to Thailand to shoot? Just wondering why in Thailand and not in the Philippines if the boxer is supposed to have Filipino roots.
I just wanna say DoHyun has solidified his spot in the K-industry now. I remember he's worried about going into military duties and he wanted to do as many projects as he can to make sure his family has enough to live by while he's away. I'm glad that even with this he still knows how to choose projects and he always deliver. His portfolio is really good. He has a strong foundation now and I'm sure fans will wait for him and he will receive the same support when he makes a come back.
The timeline is confusing me too, but I don't think they were together for 7 years. The present seems to be set…
I think the twins are just 4 or 5 yrs old. It's the Korean age system that is confusing us.haha KangHo's mom also said he's 35, but if you observe the calendars during flashback when she was pregnant, I'd say KangHo is around 33.
some cute moments in there, but a bit sad that after all the buildup, I didn't find ep12 satisfying. I probably expected too much on the 'big reveal' scenes.
"I know that they need some time alone [Kangho and Hayoung]" - MijooI saw it coming that the writer will try to…
The timeline is confusing me too, but I don't think they were together for 7 years. The present seems to be set year 2022, and him and MiJoo broke up 2018. Considering he still has to do prework to stalk her and all, that is at most 4 years (same as twin's age).
i was only half paying attention to it in the beginning..can somebody remind me again please why she sat on that guy's lap in ep1? wasn't ZhouRuji her son's surgeon? what favor did she need from the guy/villain?
i dropped this some days ago (wasn't happy when they watered down TTJ) and now considering whether to pick it up again or not. but based on these comments, the ending is not good?
this show kinda grew on me, I was expecting some angst with this trope but suprisingly the light-heartedness really works and is not boring. I must admit I skip on the other couple's scenes though. I know their other series 'Once we got married' was popular, but I never watched it because I thought ML is not attractive. I take that back now, ML's acting and aura makes him attractive. I love all the sides eyes and goofiness of his character. Btw, if they make a Korean version of this, I can totally see Ji Changwook pull off this character.
ep5 now. I'm not super hooked but it's not bad and I'm sticking to it. the biggest downside is that the 2nd and 3rd couple are unnecessary and cringe in my opinion. It's annoying and breaks the pace of the main couple story. why do cdramas keep doing this 😮💨 i think the only modern romance drama that perfected the no cringe level and no annoying 2nd couples is Lighter and Princess.
I am starting to think that they’re toning down TTJ’s character a bit too much. I understand that it needs…
yes, I feel the same way. he kinda lost his appeal to me along the way. I understand that the novel is from FL pov and she might have seen TTJ in a more 'devilish' light, and now the show is trying to put justification behind his action as we get to see things from his pov. I get that, but even so, they really softened him too much. It kinda lost the original uniqueness that it had in the beginning. It just felt like the same old xianxia trope. I dare say his character in Ashes of Love imo is better than TTJ.
to be honest, it didn't sustain the same level of excitement as it did in the earlier episodes for me. but I will still see it to the end, maybe I'll switch opinions later on
