Ji Man was pretty typical for a modern woman, she is pretty shrewd from her job as a salesperson I believe? and she read enough romance novels (like the one she got sucked into) that she's fairly disillusioned from how formulaic they tend to be. If I had to sum her up, I'd say very down-to-earth.

They share a similar base concept, with the female leads transmigrating into a side character in a story and then eventually disrupting the story by becoming the female leads in the novels they transmigrated into. Tiger and Rose was more heavy on the romcom and satire elements though, Dreamer in the Spring Boudoir is more serious and political.

if its following the novel, she is an antagonist. She was intended to be the og female lead a la Romance of Tiger and Rose but Ji Man's presence essentially dismantled the relationship building moments between Wen Wan and Ning Yuxuan

As wenkexing said, pretty decent. We have the actors being very dynamic and using their whole body to move in fights so the moves look like they have actual power behind them. They also actually move around and don't just sit in place and let the CGI do all the work.

Its really sad we didn't get to see him and Fairy Rui reunite at least because imo his romance with her was the best out of the main cast's.

As for Li Hanyi and Zhao Yuzhen, I don't think they finished the marriage, but Li Hanyi might just be considering them married anyway since they were going to go through with it or she was saying it to get Lei Hong to finally let her go.

Half sibling maybe? If he is a completely new character and/or making it a love triangle, I'm curious what exactly his place in the story is and what he's going to do. If he is making it a love triangle... well on the bright side I get to see more jelly dragon XD

The names sounding close is the only thing I'm going off of honestly so my theory is pretty flimsy. MDL still has some ppl listed under "unknown" for the casting and production so maybe whoever will play Bai Xiao Lu and whoever will HOPEFULLY play Ling Fei are still unidentified.

My only current working theory for Bai Xiao Sheng is that he's replacing Bai Xiao Lu (the fox that Yan Hui rescued twice) and expanding the role since its listed as a main role instead of a side one. The cast list also seems to have been updated significantly, so I'm seeing more characters from the novel popping up there like Huan Xiao Yan (whose absence initially concerned me because she was important to the ending of the story). The only one that I'm still concerned is missing is Ling Fei/Su E. She's Yan Hui's personal antagonist for most of the novel, so if she's not there I don't know how they plan to compensate for it.

Ooo I assume the weapon made of his own teeth is the one that looks like a sword in the trailer??? I'm excited, I don't think Tian Yao said his weapon was made out of his teeth in the novel so I'm hoping for some lore expansion when the drama comes out!
