See. This type of article is a problem. Whatever is their personal life is no business of ours. If it was part of her agency's PR policy to get her name out there, show them that approach is ineffective by not creating an article about it on MDL.
Ahjussi. Rest wellLesson for everybody else here. If you have a bad day, dont ever drink the alcohol If alcohol…
I can understand what you are trying to say here; giving people an empowering "take away" from this tragedy that will help them to lead a healthy happy life. Unfortunately, too many are hurting and angry from the news of his death and the injustices that surround it. We don't want to self-reflect right now, we are looking to change the injustice of the police's motivation and the eager media seeking guilty until proven innocent.
I agree with you totally. What hurts me is 1. Yes, his test results were negative. 2. I'm pretty sure that he…
It absolutely IS disgusting. But here, you have the right to express your opinion even if no one agrees with it. Freedom to speak. When people in positions of power but neither elected or wise get to decide what is right or wrong speech, your country is in decline. Sorry to get off topic. Lee Sun Kyun was a very talented actor and he will be missed by loved ones and fans alike.
Does this drama have a love triangle tho and is there an evil woman who is jealous of the fl trying to hurt her?
The ending episodes were sad and the build up for a final battle was unrealized. As it is about immortals, the ending was a bit vague; some believe it as happy ending, some commenters seriously disappointed. I hate makjang and quite liked this drama. Even the ending was consistent with the lead up.

There is initially another guy who is interested but it is clear fairly early on who she likes; yes there is an evil scheming woman out to get her. I loved Ethan Juan in this and Yang Mi; the drama dragged a bit in the middle, so I watched up to episode 47 and then skipped to the last few. Even so I loved it. (MY attention span will not allow 66 episodes of anything) I will spoil further in my next comment if you want to know the ending.

From someone who lives where the first amendment of our constitution is "Free Speech", this is no longer true. It used to be a place where people said offensive things but in a free country, you would ignore them and life went on. Now if you utter "hate speech", that no one can even define much less defend, you are canceled, shunned and your private details are released publicly. It is a bad time, everywhere.
RIP Ahjussi, we will never forget you. I really hope South Korean parliament who was recently (during summer)…
Rather than requiring an even higher level of behavior, the Parliament should implement stricter privacy laws whereby no news is released until/if the individual is either acquitted or convicted. Innocent until proven guilty. The media and public dole out swift and merciless retribution before the facts are revealed. Toxic Korean entertainment industry.
If it is a factual representation of events, the truth should be known.
The only way to change the toxic standards and culture of the Korean entertainment industry and the media and public's perception and response to it, is to give full disclosure and transparency to the facts surrounding this tragic result.
Welcome back, Ahn Jae Hyun. I really hope for good things for this man, he has publicly and privately weathered so much. I adored him in Love With Flaws. It resides at Position #1 of my all-time favorite "lift me up" dramas.
What an absolutely unnecessary tragic loss of a supremely talented artist; my condolences to his loved ones and friends. The unrealistic standards of behavior or lose your reputation and livelihood for Korean artists is unconscionable. I have enjoyed his work for years since Coffee Prince and had difficulty understanding the media/netizens attacks as it emerged that he was being investigated for marijuana use. Seemingly, no one is innocent until proven guilty? And while time passes waiting for the truth to be revealed he was excoriated in the press and the public. Shameful and toxic industry.
dont care but when are we going to delete the thousand burners who target and lower the rating of all 2023 shows?…
I would rather MDL not delete/censor any reviewers unless they break the existing rules. Worst case scenario is I watch an episode or two of a crap show that was boosted. I can decide for myself what reviews sound shallow or not based on the qualities I look for in a drama. Same with unrealistically lowered reviews; some of my favorite dramas are at 7.7 here, long before burner accounts became a thing. If I see an MDL account give a review and it is someone I trust and have seen before that carries more weight than anything else.
I really like her, but her acting leaves something to be desired sometimes; not only the kissing. But I hope for…
I understand what you are saying. But here is the point for me: I watch kdramas as escapism from a stressful job. So when an actor in a role, for whatever reason (poor direction, too much obvious plastic surgery, an exaggerated character portrayal, or even a tight-lipped stiff kiss of someone supposedly in love) pulls me out of the suspension of disbelief required to be immersed in the story, it ends the enjoyment of that drama for me. None of the above is a critique of the actor as a person, but the person while acting. And it isn't necessarily every drama in which they perform. Park Shin Hye has talent, but the fact that she consistently receives criticism for her kissing indicates she should recognize it is a weak spot and work on it so it no longer is.
I've seen so much hate against poor Shin Hye. Stupid Kdrama fans are so obsessed with her kissing scenes, like…
I really like her, but her acting leaves something to be desired sometimes; not only the kissing. But I hope for good things for her. (An example is the overacting/breathy character that she defended in real time and admitted was her own characterization in 2009 You're Beautiful.) She was outstanding in Flower Boy Next Door as an introverted, psychologically damaged writer.
I feel really really sad for Tae Min and Tae Ha for they were and even in this timeline are stuck with evil people…
I suspect that she will go to old Joseon and change the future fate of everyone by interrupting the death/poison cycle, with the brothers being close in the end. The only things unchanged will be the love of the leads and secondary leads. Just my guess....
